Characteristic variation of Mach number in subsonic co-flowing jets by varying lip thickness [PDF]
Jet noise reduction is achieved by jet mixing enhancement which is attributed to potential core length reduction of the primary jet. Varying lip thickness can be considered as a passive control method to reduce the potential core, to enhance mixing. This

Parameter-Based Design and Analysis of Wind Turbine Airfoils with Conformal Slot Co-Flow Jet [PDF]
A co-flow jet (CFJ), an active flow control method combining blowing and suction control, can effectively suppress the stall of airfoils. However, the streamwise jet channel along the upper surface of a conventional CFJ airfoil reduces the thickness and ...

Application Research of Flow Control Using Co-flow Jet on a Vertical Tail
The aerodynamic characteristics of the vertical tail of an aircraft are directly related to the size and weight of the vertical tail. Increasing the lift force of the vertical tail using flow control can further reduce the size of the vertical tail, which

Hydrothermal ethanol flames in Co-flow jets [PDF]
Results on the autoignition and stabilization of ethanol hydrothermal fames in a Supercritical Water Oxidation (SCWO) reactor operating at constant pressure are reported. The flames are observed as luminous reaction zones occurring in supercritical water; i.e., water at conditions above its critical point (approximately 22 MPa and 374 °C).
