Twenty-seven level co-phase traction power supply system

2021 Power System and Green Energy Conference (PSGEC), 2021
For the sake of eliminating the power quality problems including negative-sequence and reactive power currents at the electric railway traction power supply system, a new type of co-phase traction power supply system (CTPSS) is proposed, which is composed of V/v traction transformers and the new multilevel power quality conditioner (MPQC) based on ...

Polytypism in a decagonal quasicrystalline Al–Co phase

Journal of Applied Crystallography, 1989
A decagonal quasicrystalline phase has been produced in rapidly solidified binary Al–14 to 25 at.% Co and ternary Al–20 at.% Co–5 at.% Si alloys. Observation of periodicity along one of the directions in the electron diffraction patterns has confirmed the decagonal nature of the phase.

A co-phasing technique for segmented mirror telescopes

SPIE Proceedings, 2015
In the new era of astronomy, we go for bigger telescopes having segmented primary and secondary mirrors. But once segmentation is done, aligning and phasing mirror segments so that altogether they act like a monolithic mirror of a large diameter, becomes critical.

Co-phase continuity in immiscible binary polymer blends

Polymer, 1997
Abstract Methods of microscopic observation and macroscopic characterization have been developed for determining the co-phase continuity in immiscible binary blends. After selective dissolution of the component polymers, the morphologies of microscopic observation are consistent with the results of macroscopic observation and weight percentage ...

Co-phasing segmented surfaces using the geometric sensor

2013 12th Workshop on Information Optics (WIO), 2013
This paper presents a method to co-phase segmented mirror. For this purpose, we use the geometric sensor, thus only two defocused images are acquired. The van Dam and Lane algorithm [1] is applied to obtain the tip-tilt in every segment, and a new method is used to restore the original local piston.

Magnetism of the Compounds in the Hf-Co Phase System

Materials Science Forum, 2006
Magnetization M as a function of applied magnetic field H up to 50 kOe was measured at low temperature T = 5K, using an SQUID magnetometer, for HfCo2 and Hf2Co intermetallic compounds. Both samples showed paramagnetic behaviour with a weak ferromagnetic contribution due to impurities (0.01-0.001 wt%).

Signal spatial filtering for co-phasing in seeing-limited conditions

Optics Letters, 2007
We present the results of the co-phasing closed loop performed with a pyramid wavefront sensor for what we believe to be the first time in the presence of emulated atmospheric disturbance. The performance of the co-phasing loop is significantly improved by applying two spatial filters in the sensor signal space.

Alpha/Gamma equilibria in the Fe-Co phase diagram

JOM, 2000
It is possible to treat the equilibrium between α and γ phases and obtain a good representation of the phase boundaries in the Fe-Co system using the cluster variation method. In this study, calculations were performed on quaternary Fe+Fe-Co+Co- by considering both chemical and magnetic interactions.

An active co-phasing imaging testbed with segmented mirrors

SPIE Proceedings, 2011
An active co-phasing imaging testbed with high accurate optical adjustment and control in nanometer scale was set up to validate the algorithms of piston and tip-tilt error sensing and real-time adjusting. Modularization design was adopted. The primary mirror was spherical and divided into three sub-mirrors.

Co-Phasing And Co-Aligning The Multiple Mirror Telescope

SPIE Proceedings, 1987
The Multiple Mirror Telescope is an array of six 1.8 m diameter folded Cassegrain telescopes used to achieve the collecting area equivalent to that of a telescope with a single 4.5 m primary mirror. For most applications, the six images are co-aligned in such a way that overlapping images appear to result from a single telescope.
