Molecular Study Of Hydatid Disease In Iraqi Goats By using The Mitochondrial Cytochrome C Oxidase Subunit 1 Gene

open access: yesJournal of Pure and Applied Microbiology, 2022
The aim of the present study was to identify and recognize the genotype for cystic Echinococcosis that infects goats (n=19) in Iraq. The hydatid cyst was collected from different parts of the body, i.e.

Weak In‐Plane Ferromagnetism and Electronic Nematicity in the Distorted Triple‐Q Magnetic Phase of Co1/3TaS2

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Co1/3TaS2${\rm Co}_{1/3}{\rm TaS}_{2}$ hosts a triple‐Q noncoplanar antiferromagnetic state with coexisting Z3${\rm Z}_3$ electronic nematicity. We report rotational hysteresis observed in both magnetoresistance and magnetic torque, revealing strongly pinned in‐plane weak ferromagnetic moments in the triple‐Q phase and the magnetism‐driven nature of ...

Evaluation of cell-surface displayed synthetic consensus dengue EDIII cells as a potent oral vaccine candidate

open access: yesMicrobial Cell Factories, 2018
Background Dengue is a rapidly spreading mosquito borne tropical viral disease affecting hundreds of millions of people across the globe annually. The dengue virus (DENV) includes four genetically distinct serotypes that cause serious life-threatening ...

Recent Advances in Ferrite‐Based Materials for Biomedical Applications: A Comprehensive Review

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Ferrite nanoplatforms are presented as tunable biomedical materials in which synthesis control, cation engineering, defect/morphology regulation, and surface functionalization govern structure–property–bioactivity relationships. These design strategies enable multifunctional applications including MRI contrast, magnetic hyperthermia, targeted drug ...

Sub‐Nanometer Cobalt on Tungsten Titanium Carbide MXene (W2TiC2Tx): An Electrocatalyst for Highly Efficient and Stable Alkaline Hydrogen Evolution at Industrial‐Scale Current Density

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
A novel W2TiC2Tx MXene prepared through a MAX‐phase route supports sub‐nanometer Co for highly efficient alkaline hydrogen evolution. Strong Co–W interfacial interactions optimize hydrogen adsorption and catalytic activity, enabling low overpotentials of 63 mV at 10 mA cm−2, small Tafel slope of 44.3 mV dec−1, and exceptional durability at industrially

Genetic Characterization of Nematodirella cameli Based on 18S rDNA and Cytochrome c Oxidase Subunit 1 (CO1)

open access: yesİstanbul Üniversitesi Veteriner Fakültesi Dergisi, 2015
To determine the phylogenic position and genetic diversity of Nematodirella cameli two portions of nuclear ribosomal DNA, 18S rDNA and mitochondrial DNA gene, the subunit 1 of cytochrome C oxidase gene (CO1) were sequenced and compared with those ...

Tunable Negative Thermal Expansion in Fe/Cr‐Substituted Nd2Co17 Compounds via Magnetoelastic Coupling

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study achieves anisotropic thermal expansion tuning in Nd2(Co1‐xFex)17‐yCry compounds via a magnetoelastic strategy. Variable‐temperature synchrotron X‐ray diffraction reveals that increased Fe content induces switchable lattice responses. Compositional control reduces the volume expansion coefficient αV by 20% (x═0.7) and modulates TC (442–625 K),

Silicon‐Bridged Homocyclopentadienides: Metal‐Assisted Facile Ring Expansion of Cyclopentadienide by Transient Imino(Metallophosphino)Silylenes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, EarlyView.
We demonstrate the facile aromatic C─C bond cleavage of cyclopentadienide mediated by transient imino(metallophosphino)silylenes, enabling the transformation of an aromatic system into a homoaromatic species. The steric bulk of the phosphino substituent, together with the weak interaction between the coinage metal and the cyclopentadienide ligand, are ...

Leonurine Ameliorates Doxorubicin‐Induced Cardiotoxicity via STING/NF‐κB/NLRP3 Inflammasome Signaling Pathway

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Doxorubicin‐induced cardiomyopathy (DIC) remains a dose‐limiting clinical challenge. This study reveals that cardiac vascular endothelial cells (CVECs) act as initial sensors of doxorubicin cardiotoxicity: circulating doxorubicin activates the cGAS‑STING pathway in CVECs, triggering NLRP3 inflammasome‑mediated pyroptosis and release of ...
