Phase Separation Solvent for CO2 Capture
Abstract We developed the new type of CO 2 absorption solvent which transforms into two liquids phase with CO 2 absorption. CO 2 solubility of three types of phase separation solvent were measured and discussed about the hydrophobicity.

To what extent can mutual shifting of folded carbonaceous walls in slit-like pores affect their adsorption properties? [PDF]
We have performed systematic Monte Carlo studies on the influence of shifting the walls in slit-like systems constructed from folded graphene sheets on their adsorption properties.

Beyond its role in immune evasion, this study identified that CD47 drives tumor‐intrinsic signaling in non‐small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). Transcriptomic profiling and functional studies revealed that CD47 regulates cell adhesion, migration, and metastasis through an ERK–EMT signaling axis.

Modelling of CO2 Frost Formation and Growth on a Flat Plate
Cryogenic separation is one of many CO2 capture technologies developed for upgrading biogas or for CO2 separation from flue gases. In order to better understand the CO2 frosting phenomena, in this paper, CO2 frost growth is modelled considering ...

Methane and carbon dioxide adsorption on edge-functionalized graphene: A comparative DFT study
With a view towards optimizing gas storage and separation in crystalline and disordered nanoporous carbon-based materials, we use ab initio density functional theory calculations to explore the effect of chemical functionalization on gas binding to ...

We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

CIN85 is highly expressed in osteosarcoma, particularly in metastatic lesions. Its overexpression increases cell migration and Matrigel invasion, while silencing CIN85 suppresses these behaviors. Transcriptome analysis shows that CIN85 regulates MMP2, COL3A1, and Akt/mTOR signaling. Targeting these pathways reverses CIN85‐induced motility, highlighting

Compression of Martian atmosphere for production of oxygen [PDF]
The compression of CO2 from the Martian atmosphere for production of O2 via an electrochemical cell is addressed. Design specifications call for an oxygen production rate of 10 kg per day and for compression of 50 times that mass of CO2.
