Determination of Mn(II) and Co(II) with Arsenazo III
Biochemistry (Moscow), 2002Complex formation between Arsenazo III and Mn2+ and Co2+ at equilibrium has been investigated at pH 7.2, and the stoichiometry and stability of the complexes have been determined. The data indicate that Arsenazo III is suitable for determination of Mn2+ and Co2+ on the micromolar scale.

Speciation of Co(II), Co(III), and Cu(II) in ethylenediamine solutions by capillary electrophoresis
Analytical and Bioanalytical Chemistry, 2003A capillary electrophoretic (CE) method for the speciation of Co(II), Co(III), and Cu(II) in electroless copper-plating baths containing ethylenediamine (En) has been developed. The method is based on the selective pre-capillary derivatization of Co(II) with 1,10-phenanthroline (Phen) followed by CE separation of stable [CoPhen(3)](2+), [CoEn(3)](3 ...

Co(II)−Co(II) Paddlewheel Complex with a Redox-Active Ligand Derived from TTF
Inorganic Chemistry, 2006A new trimethyltetrathiafulvalene (Me3TTF) derivative Me3TTF-CH=CH-py bearing a pyridyl was synthesized and coordinated to a cobalt(II) benzoate dimer, having paddlewheel core structure, leading to a complex formulated as Co2(PhCOO)4(Me3TTF-CH=CH-py)2.

Oxalato complexes of Co(II) and Co(III)
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1958Abstract The results of various chemical and physical-chemical studies on the oxalato complexes of di- and tri-valent cobalt are reported. Evidence is presented for a Co(II) trioxalato complex with a dissociation constant of ca. 0·1, and that the complex known as Durrant's salt, of empirical formula K 2 Co(C 2 O 4 ) 2 (OH)(H 2 O), has a bridged and ...

Complexes of Co(II) and Ni(II) with selenourea
Bulletin of the Academy of Sciences of the USSR Division of Chemical Science, 19711. Compounds of selenourea (Seu) having the composition: Co(NO3)2·4Seu, Ni(NO3)2·4Seu, Ni(NO3)2·4Seu·4C3H6O, were synthesized and isolated in the pure state. 2. By comparing the IR spectra of the free selenourea and the obtained complexes of Co(II) and Ni(II) it was shown that the Seu is coordinated through the selenium atom.

Potentiometric titration of Co(II) in presence of Co(III)
Talanta, 1998A potentiometric titration for cobalt(II) determination in the presence of Co(III) based on the oxidation of Co(II) with Na(2)CrO(4) in ethylenediamine medium and back-titration of the oxidant excess with (NH(4))(2)Fe(SO(4))(2) in acid medium is described.

Materials Letters, 1994
The preparation of Ni-Co powder for magnetoresistive sensors was studied. A submicron Ni-Co powder was obtained in good yield by reduction of freshly prepared Ni(II) and Co(II) hydroxides in ethylene glycol. The product was a chemically homogeneous powder alloy with a fcc lattice and a Ni/Co atomic ratio of 70/30.

Phenolate and phenoxyl radical complexes of Co(ii) and Co(iii)
Dalton Transactions, 2004The new phenol-imidazole pro-ligands (R)LH react with Co(BF(4))(2).6H(2)O in the presence of Et(3)N to form the corresponding [Co(II)((R)L)(2)] compound (R = Ph (1), PhOMe (2), or Bz (3)). Also, (Bz)LH, reacts with Co(ii) in the presence of Et(3)N and H(2)O(2) to form [Co(III)((Bz)L)(3)](4). The structures of 1.2.5MeCN, 2.2DMF, 3.4MeOH, and 4.4DMF have

Complexes of Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) with lapachol
Polyhedron, 2007Abstract Complexes of naturally occurring hydroxynaphtho-quinone, lapachol (2-hydroxy-3(3-methyl-2-buthenyl)-1,4-naphthoquinone = HL) with Co(II), Ni(II) and Cu(II) have been prepared by reaction of the corresponding acetates with the ligand (HL) in ethanol. The molecular and crystal structures were determined for [CoL2(EtOH)2] (1), [NiL2(EtOH)2] (2),
