Mononuclear Mn(II), Co(II), and Cu(II) pivalates
Polyhedron, 2014Mononuclear Mn(II), Co(II), and Cu(II) pivalates were synthesized for the first time. They were isolated as salts with a composition NBu 4[MPiv3], where Piv is the pivalate anion. In the structure of the [MnPiv3] and [CoPiv3] coordination units, the environment of the central atom was found to be close to a trigonal prism.

Complexes of Cu(II), Co(II), and Ni(II) with "QPyNO"
Canadian Journal of Chemistry, 1971A new ligand, 2,3-di(2-pyridine N-oxide) quinoxaline and its complexes with copper(II), cobalt(II), and nickel(II), have been prepared. A detailed investigation of the magnetic and spectral properties of these compounds has led to some tentative suggestions as to their structures.

Paramagnetic NMR investigations of Co(II) and Ni(II) amicyanin
JBIC Journal of Biological Inorganic Chemistry, 1999The paramagnetic 1H NMR spectra of the Co(II) and Ni(II) substituted forms of the type 1 blue copper protein (cupredoxin) amicyanin have been assigned. This is the first such analysis of a cupredoxin, which has a distorted tetrahedral active site with the ligands provided by two histidines, a cysteine and a methionine.
