This meta‐analysis demonstrates the high diagnostic accuracy of SZ‐CEUS for differentiating between malignant and benign focal liver lesions, as well as for HCC from non‐HCC lesions. The study shows better performance for smaller lesions and those with a higher proportion of malignancy.

Carbenicillin-induced coagulopathy.

In high dosage, carbenicillin may interfere with the conversion of fibrinogen to fibrin and result in a haemorrhagic diathesis. The effect is dose-dependent and requires a high concentration of carbenicillin in plasma. Such a level may be attained in renal failure unless the dose of the drug is appropriately reduced.
