Ultra‐High‐Efficiency On‐Chip CO2 Conversion by Nanosecond Self‐Pulsing Micro‐Plasma Devices

open access: yesCarbon Energy, EarlyView.
A micro‐plasma chip with sub‐10‐μm electrode gaps is introduced for efficient CO2‐to‐CO conversion. The device self‐converts a DC power supply into nanosecond pulses, producing field‐emission electrons that vibrationally excite CO2, driving dissociation via the ladder‐climbing mechanism. A scaled‐up chip array achieves 30% single‐pass conversion and 50%

Hematologic markers and machine learning in predicting placenta accreta: A case–control study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Gynecology &Obstetrics, EarlyView.
Abstract Objective This study aims to enhance antenatal detection of placenta accreta spectrum (PAS) and predict severe hemorrhage at delivery using machine learning by evaluating the association between antenatal hematologic index trends across trimesters, imaging markers, and patient history.

Related-Key Differential Attacks on Cobra-S128, Cobra-F64a, and Cobra-F64b [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
Data-dependent permutations (DDPs) which are very suitable for cheap hardware implementations have been introduced as a cryptographic primitive. Cobra-S128 and Cobra-F64 (which is a generic name for Cobra-F64a and Cobra-F64b) are 128-bit and 64-bit iterated block ciphers with a 128-bit key size based on such DDPs, respectively.
