DEVELOPMENT OF A METHOD TO ESTIMATE OF DROP SIZE DISTRIBUTION ABOVE THE MELTING LAYER BY USING 400MHz-BAND WIND PROFILER AND COBRA

open access: yesPROCEEDINGS OF HYDRAULIC ENGINEERING, 2007
The vertical profile of raindrop size distribution (DSD) is important for understanding rain processes. To improve the accuracy of rainfall intensity observed by precipitation radar and microwave radiometers carried on satellites, the information on the vertical profile of DSD is also important. The purpose of this study is to develop a database of DSD

A sensory ecology approach to understanding snakebites: Influence of sensory cues on the strike of the lancehead pitviper

open access: yesJournal of Zoology, EarlyView.
Snakes are notable for having a broad range of predators and one of the most diverse repertoires of defensive behaviors. During heightened responses to aversive stimuli, one of the behaviors displayed is the venomous bite, particularly relevant because it triggers snakebite incidents in humans.

An adaptive multiphase approach for large unconditional and conditional p-median problems [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
A multiphase approach that incorporates demand points aggregation, Variable Neighbourhood Search (VNS) and an exact method is proposed for the solution of large-scale unconditional and conditional p-median problems. The method consists of four phases. In

Radiolabeled Angiopep‐2 Peptide Vector as a Preclinical Platform for Blood–Brain Barrier Targeting: Synthesis, Radiolabeling, and Preliminary In Vivo Biodistribution in Mice

open access: yesJournal of Peptide Science, Volume 32, Issue 7, July 2026.
The developed DOTA‐Angiopep‐2 conjugate was well tolerated in glioma cells and enabled high‐yield radiolabeling with 177Lu and 161Tb. The 161Tb conjugate showed brain delivery with predominantly renal clearance, supporting a stable radiotheranostic platform for BBB‐targeted glioma therapy and SPECT imaging.

Contextualized Metabolic Modelling Revealed Factors Affecting Isoflavone Accumulation in Soybean Seeds

open access: yesPlant, Cell &Environment, Volume 49, Issue 7, Page 3543-3559, July 2026.
ABSTRACT Isoflavones, secondary metabolites with numerous health benefits, are predominantly found in legume seeds, especially soybean; however, their contents in domesticated soybean seeds are highly variable. Wild soybeans are known for higher seed isoflavone contents than cultivars. Here we used experimental and modelling approaches on wild soybean (
