ARRHYTHMOGENIC EFFECTS OF COCAETHYLENE IN ALCOHOL AND COCAINE USERS
Journal of the American College of Cardiology, 2012 Cocaine and ethanol are two most commonly used recreational drugs in United States. Animal studies have shown that combining cocaine and alcohol produces a cardiotoxic metabolite known as cocaethylene, which is more arrhythmogenic than either of them alone.
