WebbiaCoccoloba is one of the richest tropical tree genera of Polygonaceae. Since the last taxonomic treatment of the genus in 1959, new species and new nomenclatural arrangements have been published in the last decade. In this work, Coccoloba ruizii and Coccoloba queretaroensis are described and illustrated as two new endemic species from Mexico.
