Environmental and Protection Effects of Shark‐Companion Associations Across Three Ocean Basins
Ecology and Evolution, Volume 16, Issue 6, June 2026.Companion species frequently associate with large marine hosts, yet the ecological drivers of these relationships remain poorly understood. Using a global dataset of midwater BRUVS deployments, we modelled the presence and abundance of shark‐companion associations across seven shark species and three ocean basins.

Mechanisms of Gui Zhi Fu Ling Formula in Liver Fibrosis: Metabolomics and Gut Microbiota Analysis
eFood, Volume 7, Issue 3, June 2026.Our study was based on the efficacy of the phenotype in an animal model and used multi‐omics to explore the mechanism of action of the compound. We found that Gui Zhi Fu Ling Formula may ameliorate hepatic fibrosis potentially associated with increased hepatic EPA and the expression of gut Pseudomonas.
