TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

K-Alpha Calculator–Krippendorff's Alpha Calculator: A user-friendly tool for computing Krippendorff's Alpha inter-rater reliability coefficient

open access: yesMethodsX
Krippendorff's Alpha is a measure for assessing inter-rater reliability, facilitating triangulated evaluations among multiple raters. Indeed, Krippendorff's Alpha is key in validating the dependability of human assessments, thereby reinforcing the ...

Beta-Bazilevič Function [PDF]

open access: yesSahand Communications in Mathematical Analysis
In this paper, we introduce a relatively new class, $\mathcal{\mathcal{B}}_{1}^\beta(\alpha)$, namely the class of Beta-Bazilevi\v{c} function is generated by the function Bazilevi\v{c} $\mathcal{B}_{1}(\alpha)$.

The full set of polarized deep inelastic scattering structure functions at NNLO accuracy

open access: yesEuropean Physical Journal C: Particles and Fields, 2022
We present the second order contributions to the coefficient functions for the parity violating polarized structure functions $$g_L$$ g L and $$g_4$$ g 4 , thus completing the $${\mathcal {O}}(\alpha _S^2)$$ O ( α S 2 ) knowledge on DIS structure ...

Effectiveness of different alpha lattice designs in the evaluation of maize (Zea mays L.) genotypes in a rainforest agro-ecology

open access: yesHeliyon, 2021
Plant breeding experiments require the use of appropriate experimental designs that will efficiently block variation due to wide heterogeneity nature of tropical soils.

Formulas for the Walsh coefficients of smooth functions and their application to bounds on the Walsh coefficients

open access: yes, 2015
We establish formulas for the $b$-adic Walsh coefficients of functions in $C^\alpha[0,1]$ for an integer $\alpha \geq 1$ and give upper bounds on the Walsh coefficients of these functions. We also study the Walsh coefficients of periodic and non-periodic

Identification of serum protein biomarkers for pre‐cancerous lesions associated with pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This work identified serum proteins associated with pancreatic epithelial neoplasms (PanINs) and early‐stage PDAC. Proteomics screens assessed genetically engineered mice with abundant PanINs, KPC mice (Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐KrasG12D/+ Lox‐STOP‐Lox‐Trp53R172H/+ Pdx1‐Cre) before PDAC development and also early‐stage PDAC patients (n = 31), compared to benign ...

Products of graphs and Nordhaus-Gaddum type inequalities for eigenvalues [PDF]

open access: yesTransactions on Combinatorics, 2018
In this paper‎, ‎we obtain $alpha$ as coefficient for the $G=K_{alpha n} cup overline{K_{(1-alpha)n}}$ and by which we discuss Nikiforov's conjecture for $lambda_{1}$ and Aouchiche and Hansen's conjecture for $q_1$ in Nordhaus-Gaddum type inequalities‎. ‎

Boundary regularity of stochastic PDEs

open access: yes, 2018
The boundary behaviour of solutions of stochastic PDEs with Dirichlet boundary conditions can be surprisingly - and in a sense, arbitrarily - bad: as shown by Krylov, for any $\alpha>0$ one can find a simple $1$-dimensional constant coefficient linear ...

EDNRB‐dependent endothelin signaling reduces proliferation and promotes proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition in gliomas

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
