Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer
We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.

On estimates for the coefficients of a polynomial
Abstract If P ( z ) = ∑ j = 0 n a j z j is a polynomial of degree n, then it was proved by Rahman and Schmeisser [4] that for every p ∈ [ 0 , + ∞ ] , | a n | + | a 0 | ≤ 2 ‖ P ‖ p ‖ 1 + z ‖ p .

In patients treated with atezolizumab as a part of the MyPathway (NCT02091141) trial, pre‐treatment ctDNA tumor fraction at high levels was associated with poor outcomes (radiographic response, progression‐free survival, and overall survival) but better sensitivity for blood tumor mutational burden (bTMB).

Estimating Coefficient Distributions in Random Coefficient Regressions
Random coefficient regression models are important in representing linear models with heteroscedastic errors and in unifying the study of classical fixed effects and random effects linear models. For prediction intervals and for bootstrapping in random coefficient regressions, it is necessary to estimate the distributions of the random coefficients ...

TRIM24 and TRIM28 are androgen receptor (AR) coregulators which exhibit increased expression with cancer progression. Both TRIM24 and TRIM28 combine to influence the response of castrate‐resistant prostate cancer (CRPC) cells to AR inhibitors by mediating AR signalling, regulation of MYC and upregulating VEGF to promote angiogenesis. Castrate‐resistant

Analysis of treatment‐naïve high‐grade serous ovarian carcinoma (HGSOC) and control tissues for ERVs, LINE‐1 (L1), inflammation, and immune checkpoints identified five clusters with diverse patient recurrence‐free survivals. An inflammation score was calculated and correlated with retroelement expression, where one novel cluster (Triple‐I) with high ...

A DIA‐MS‐based proteomics analysis of serum samples from GB patients and healthy controls showed that high levels of IL1R2 and low levels of CRTAC1 and HRG in serum are associated with poor survival outcomes for GB patients. These circulating proteins could serve as biomarkers for the prediction of outcome in patients with GB.

Coefficient estimates for whole-plane SLE processes [PDF]
Loewner introduced his famous differential equation in 1923 in order to solve Bieberbach conjecture for n=3. His method has been revived in 1999 by Ode Schramm who introduced Stochastic Loewner processes which happened to open many doors in statistical ...

In luminal (ER+) breast carcinoma (BC), miRNA profiling identified miR‐195‐5p as a key regulator of proliferation that targets CHEK1, CDC25A, and CCNE1. High CHEK1 expression correlates with worse relapse‐free survival after chemotherapy, especially in patients with luminal A subtype.

This paper establishes new results related to geometric function theory by presenting a new subclass of harmonic functions with complex values within the open unit disk, characterized by a second-order differential inequality.
