Estimation of Diffusion Coefficients in Biomembranes
In this paper, the determination of diffusion coefficients in plant biomembranes for the nonstationary diffusion state is discussed. It is suggested that any point in the heterogeneous structures may be considered to be in Donnan equilibrium with a given external salt concentration.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

Optimal calibration in immunoassay and inference on the coefficient of variation [PDF]
This thesis examines and develops statistical methods for design and analysis with applications in immunoassay and other analytical techniques. In immunoassay, concentrations of components in clinical samples are measured using antibodies.

The mycobacterial CIII‐CIV respiratory supercomplex is an obligate assembly, encompassing several subunits of unknown functions. We have characterized the intracellular subunit AscF, and show that it is unlikely to be a sensor for metals or nucleotides, but is required for growth on nonfermentable energy sources, and likely works as an adapter for ...

Alternative Methods of Estimating the Okun Coefficient. Applications for Romania [PDF]
The purpose of this study is to estimate the Okun coefficient for Romania for the 1991-2004 period. In order to derive it, I use a few alternative methods.

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated
