Epithelial–mesenchymal transition (EMT) and tumor‐infiltrating lymphocytes (TILs) are associated with early breast cancer response to neoadjuvant chemotherapy (NAC). This study evaluated EMT and TIL shifts, with immunofluorescence and RNA sequencing, at diagnosis and in residual tumors as potential biomarkers associated with treatment response.

Coefficient estimates for general subclasses of $m$-foldsymmetric analytic bi-univalent functions
In this work, we introduce and investigate two new subclasses of the bi-univalent functions in which both f and f−1 are m -fold symmetric analytic functions.

Some Classes of Harmonic Mapping with a Symmetric Conjecture Point Defined by Subordination
In the paper, we introduce some subclasses of harmonic mapping, the analytic part of which is related to general starlike (or convex) functions with a symmetric conjecture point defined by subordination.

A Special Family of m-Fold Symmetric Bi-Univalent Functions Satisfying Subordination Condition
In this paper, we introduce a special family Mσm(τ,ν,η,φ) of the function family σm of m-fold symmetric bi-univalent functions defined in the open unit disc D and obtain estimates of the first two Taylor–Maclaurin coefficients for functions in the ...

Estimation of the simple correlation coefficient [PDF]
This article investigates some unfamiliar properties of the Pearson product-moment correlation coefficient for the estimation of simple correlation coefficient. Although Pearson's r is biased, except for limited situations, and the minimum variance unbiased estimator has been proposed in the literature, researchers routinely employ the sample ...

Adverse prognosis gene expression patterns in metastatic castration‐resistant prostate cancer
We aggregated a cohort of 1012 mCRPC tissue samples from 769 patients and investigated the association of gene expression‐based pathways with clinical outcomes. Loss of AR signaling, high proliferation, and a glycolytic phenotype were independently prognostic for poor outcomes, and an adverse transcriptional feature score incorporating these pathways ...

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

Faber polynomial coefficient estimates for a subclass of analytic bi-univalent functions
In this work, considering a general subclass of analytic bi-univalent functions, we determine estimates for the general Taylor-Maclaurin coefficients of the functions in this class. For this purpose, we use the Faber polynomial expansions.

Low expression of five purine metabolism‐related genes (ADSL, APRT, ADCY3, NME3, NME6) was correlated with poor survival in colorectal cancer. Immunohistochemistry analysis showed that low NME3 (early stage) and low ADSL/NME6 (late stage) levels were associated with high risk.
