The proposed hybrid osprey‐salp swarm optimization algorithm addresses optimal power flow (OPF) problems in smart grids incorporating solar, hydro, and thermal generators. The algorithm is validated on Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers 30‐, 57‐, and 118‐bus test systems across five single and multiobjective OPF scenarios.

Coevolution of Glauber-like Ising dynamics and topology
We study the coevolution of a generalized Glauber dynamics for Ising spins, with tunable threshold, and of the graph topology where the dynamics takes place.

Coevolution of Network Structure and Content
As individuals communicate, their exchanges form a dynamic network. We demonstrate, using time series analysis of communication in three online settings, that network structure alone can be highly revealing of the diversity and novelty of the information

Innate immunity shapes the persistent transmission of plant viruses by insect vectors
In this review, we focus on two key aspects of the virus–vector interplay: (1) persistently transmitted viruses utilize host factors to overcome transmission barriers; and (2) molecular recognition activates antiviral immunity and subsequent viral counter‐defense. Understanding these interactions offers critical insights for developing novel strategies

Space weathering on the lunar nearside and farside constrained from Si isotopes
Over long timescales, space weathering processes can modify the compositions of surface materials on the Moon. To assess the effects of space weathering of lunar soils, we study Si isotopes of Chang’E-5 (CE-5) and Chang’E-6 (CE-6) returned samples, and ...

Resource Sharing and Coevolution in Evolving Cellular Automata
Evolving one-dimensional cellular automata (CAs) with genetic algorithms has provided insight into how improved performance on a task requiring global coordination emerges when only local interactions are possible.

Trapped in the web: network architectures spread coevolution and shape adaptation
Adaptation is critical for biodiversity to persist under global change. Within ecological communities, species often face tradeoffs between adapting to shifting abiotic conditions and navigating the complex selective pressures imposed by interaction networks.

Exploring the links between Large Igneous Provinces and dramatic environmental impact
An emerging consensus suggests that Large Igneous Provinces (LIPs) and Silicic LIPs (SLIPs) are a significant driver of dramatic global environmental and biological changes, including mass extinctions.
