Observations and Analysis of Turbulent Wake of Wind Turbine by Coherent Doppler Lidar
Turbulent wake of wind turbine will reduce the power output of wind farm. The access to real turbulent wake of wind turbine blades with different spatial and temporal scales is provided by the pulsed Coherent Doppler Lidar (CDL) which operates by ...

Spatial averaging-effects on turbulence measured by a continuous-wave coherent lidar
The influence of spatial volume averaging of a focused continuous-wave coherent Doppler lidar on observed wind turbulence in the atmospheric surface layer is described and analysed. For the first time, comparisons of lidar-measured turbulent spectra with

Aerosol/Cloud Measurements Using Coherent Wind Doppler Lidars [PDF]
The accurate localization and characterization of aerosol and cloud layers is crucial for climate studies (aerosol indirect effect), meteorology (Planetary Boundary Layer PBL height), site monitoring (industrial emissions, mining,…) and natural hazards (thunderstorms, volcanic eruptions).

Dumpsite Seabed Characterization of the San Pedro Basin, CA, From Autonomous Vehicle Observations
ABSTRACT A wide‐area seabed survey was conducted using autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) in a known dumpsite off the coast of Southern California that has been found to have widespread sediment contamination from the chemical dichlorodiphenyltrichloroethane (DDT).
