Raman‐based label‐free microscopic analysis of the pancreas in living zebrafish larvae
Forward stimulated Raman scattering (F‐SRS) and epi coherent anti‐Stokes Raman scattering (E‐CARS) allow label‐free discrimination of distinct subcellular structures in the pancreas of living zebrafish larvae. Given the straightforward applicability, we anticipate broad implementation of Raman microscopy in other organs and across various biomedical ...

An LES Investigation of Flow Field Around the Cuboid Artificial Reef at Different Angles of Attack
The placement of artificial reefs (ARs) significantly influences local hydrodynamics and nutrient transport, both of which are crucial for enhancing marine ecosystems and improving marine habitats. Large eddy simulations (LESs) are performed to study the

Nonlinear coherent structures in granular crystals
The study of granular crystals, metamaterials that consist of closely packed arrays of particles that interact elastically, is a vibrant area of research that combines ideas from disciplines such as materials science, nonlinear dynamics, and condensed-matter physics.

Unique biological samples, such as site‐specific mutant proteins, are available only in limited quantities. Here, we present a polarization‐resolved transient infrared spectroscopy setup with referencing to improve signal‐to‐noise tailored towards tracing small signals. We provide an overview of characterizing the excitation conditions for polarization‐

Resolution Dependence of Turbulent Structures in Convective Boundary Layer Simulations
Large-eddy simulations are performed using the U.K. Met Office Large Eddy Model to study the effects of resolution on turbulent structures in a convective boundary layer. A standard Smagorinsky subgrid scheme is used. As the grid length is increased, the

Lagrangian coherent structures and plasma transport processes
A dynamical system framework is used to describe transport processes in plasmas embedded in a magnetic field. For periodic systems with one degree of freedom the Poincar\'e map provides a splitting of the phase space into regions where particles have ...

Aging Is a Key Driver for Adult Acute Myeloid Leukemia
Acute myeloid leukemia (AML) is a classical age‐related hematologic malignancy, and a key driver of AML is aging, which profoundly regulates intrinsic factors such as genomic instability, epigenetic reprogramming, and metabolic dysregulation, and alters bone marrow microenvironment.

Large eddy simulation of film cooling on turbine vane
Large eddy simulations were performed for film cooling on scaled-up C3X turbine vane at the nominal blowing ratio of M=0.5~1.5, and the Reynolds number, Re=3000, based on the mainstream inlet velocity and hole diameter.

Coherent States and Duality [PDF]
We formulate a relation between quantum-mechanical coherent states and complex-differentiable structures on the classical phase space ${\cal C}$ of a finite number of degrees of freedom.

Mutant NPM1 in Acute Myeloid Leukemia Initiation and Maintenance
NPM1 mutations drive acute myeloid leukemia by acting as neomorphic transcriptional regulators that cooperate with Menin–MLL and XPO1 to sustain HOX/MEIS1 expression and block differentiation. Targeting these mutant‐specific transcriptional dependencies provides a rational therapeutic strategy for NPM1‐mutated AML.
