Low‐Flicker‐Noise MoS2 Transistors Enabled by High‐κ Rare‐Earth Oxychlorides for Mixed‐Signal Electronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Single‐crystalline LaOCl and GdOCl form atomically abrupt, Cl‐terminated interfaces with MoS2, enabling near‐ideal switching and suppressed flicker noise. Carrier‐number‐fluctuation analysis yields effective noise‐derived interface trap densities of 1.15–1.94 × 1010 cm−2 eV−1, approaching hexagonal boron nitride levels with high‐κ coupling.

Coherentism as a foundation for ethical dialog and evaluation in school : value communication, assessment and mediation

open access: yes, 2012
In this paper, we are mainly concerned with coherentism as an approach to ethical dialog in school. We have two different but connected aims with the paper.

Beyond Primary Nucleation: Molecular Basis of Peptide Crystal Secondary Nucleation at Soft Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
High spatiotemporal‐resolution atomic force microscopy directly resolved peptide secondary nucleation (SN) and growth characteristics and mechanisms on HOPG. The landscape of peptide nucleation sites, growth dynamics, molecular‐scale structures, phase transitions, and cross‐seeding processes were realized.

Efficient Magnetization Switching Driven by Orbital Torque in Light 3d Transition‐Metal Nitrides

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Efficient magnetization switching is demonstrated through orbital torque generated from light 3d transition‐metal nitride. Transition‐metal nitrides are established as effective sources of orbital angular momentum for current‐induced switching, highlighting their potential for low‐power next‐generation orbitronic devices beyond conventional heavy‐metal‐

Modulation of Surface‐Associated Transport in (Bi1‐xSbx)2Te3 via Battery‐ Inspired Solid‐State Iontronic Gating

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Iontronic gating in a battery‐inspired device modulates the relative weight of surface‐associated and bulk‐like transport fingerprints in (Bi1‐xSbx)2Te3, resulting in phenomenological valve‐like transport behavior. The strongest WAL‐associated coherent transport signatures emerge near the transport‐defined carrier compensation regime at ultra‐low gate ...

Orbital Engineering through Strain‐Induced Spin–Orbit–Lattice Coupling in Sr2FeReO6 Double Perovskites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Epitaxial strain drives oxygen‐octahedral reconfiguration in Sr2FeReO6 double‐perovskite thin films, inducing orbital‐selective reconstruction of Re 5d states through modified Fe–O–Re hybridization. This coupled lattice–orbital response enables magnetic easy‐axis reversal and a transition from metallic‐like to semiconducting‐like transport.
