Existence of Solution for a Katugampola Fractional Differential Equation Using Coincidence Degree Theory [PDF]

open access: hybridMediterranean Journal of Mathematics
AbstractIn this paper, the authors study the existence of positive solutions to the fractional boundary value problem at resonance $$\begin{aligned} -(D^{\alpha ,\rho }_{a+}x)(t)= & {} f(t,x(t),D^{\alpha -1, \rho }_{a+}x(t)), \ \ t\in (a,b), \\ x(a)= & {} 0, \ \ x(b)=\int _{a}^{b} x(t){\text {d}}A(t), \end{aligned}$$

Existence of solutions by coincidence degree theory for Hadamard fractionaldifferential equations at resonance

open access: bronzeTurkish Journal of Mathematics
In this paper, the authors studied a boundary value problem for Hadamard fractional differential equations at resonance. By using the Mawhin's coincidence degree theory, they established an existence result for the problem under some conditions. They also presented an example to illustrate their result.

Effect of Fracture Coincidence on Mechanical Properties and Damage Evolution of Sandstone

open access: yesMeikuang Anquan, 2020
To study the effect of fracture coincidence on mechanical properties and damage evolution of fractured sandstone, five kinds of sandstone specimens with different crack distributions were simulated by RFPA2D software under uniaxial compression test. The

Four positive periodic solutions of a discrete time Lotka-Volterra competitive system with harvesting terms [PDF]

open access: yesOpuscula Mathematica, 2011
In this paper, by using Mawhin's continuation theorem of coincidence degree theory, we establish the existence of at least four positive periodic solutions for a discrete time Lotka-Volterra competitive system with harvesting terms.

On some higher order boundary value problems at resonance with integral boundary conditions

open access: yesArab Journal of Mathematical Sciences, 2018
This paper investigates the existence of solutions for higher-order multipoint boundary value problems at resonance. We obtain existence results by using coincidence degree arguments.

Periodic solutions to a $p$-Laplacian neutral Duffing equation with variable parameter

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2011
We study a type of $p$-Laplacian neutral Duffing functional differential equation with variable parameter to establish new results on the existence of $T$-periodic solutions.

On existence of periodic solutions of the Rayleigh equation of retarded type

open access: yesInternational Journal of Mathematics and Mathematical Sciences, 2000
In this paper, we give two sufficient conditions on the existence of periodic solutions of the non-autonomous Rayleigh equation of retarded type by using the coincidence degree theory.

Existence of solutions for fractional differential equations with three-point boundary conditions at resonance in $\mathbb{R}^n$

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Qualitative Theory of Differential Equations, 2015
In this paper, by applying the coincidence degree theory which was first introduced by Mawhin, we obtain an existence result for the fractional three-point boundary value problems in $\mathbb{R}^n$, where the dimension of the kernel of fractional ...

Solvability of integral boundary value problems at resonance in Rn $R^{n}$

open access: yesJournal of Inequalities and Applications, 2019
Under a resonance condition involving integral boundary value problems for a second-order nonlinear differential equation in Rn $\mathbb{R}^{n}$, we show its solvability by using the coincidence degree theory of Mawhin and the theory of matrix ...
