We introduce a molecular strategy to assemble one‐dimensional (1D) materials into two‐dimensional (2D) van der Waals metal–organic frameworks (MOFs). Crystals of [FeX(pzX)(bpy)] (X = Cl, F) form anisotropic 2D layers that can be mechanically exfoliated into thin sheets.

A nano‐interception strategy disrupts pathogenic fibroblast–macrophage crosstalk in chronic heart failure. Scalable Prussian blue nanoparticles selectively sequester CCL2 via ultrahigh‐affinity binding, preventing CCR2+ macrophage recruitment and breaking a key fibro‐inflammatory circuit. This approach demonstrates robust efficacy in murine and porcine

Beyond Earth: Resilience of Quasi‐2D Perovskite Solar Cells in Space
In the article (DOI: 10.1002/adma.202520433), Christoph Putz and co‐workers demonstrate rigid quasi‐2D perovskite solar cells operating in low Earth orbit, delivering stable power for more than 100 days under real‐space conditions. In‐orbit performance is correlated with extensive ground‐based thermal and proton‐irradiation studies on rigid and ...

The universality of the relation between magnetic fields and star formation in galaxies
Context. The interstellar medium (ISM) is permeated by magnetic fields affecting gas dynamics and star formation. These magnetic fields have been observed to be related to the supernova-driven turbulence. However, whether this scaling is universal across

MINDS: Detection of an Inner Gas Disk Caused by Evaporating Bodies around HD 172555
Mechanisms such as collisions of rocky bodies or cometary activity give rise to dusty debris disks. Debris disks trace the leftover building blocks of planets, and thus also planetary composition.

Elephant‐skin‐inspired crack networks are programmed in porous diatomaceous earth (DE)‐cement composites using substrate‐guided, stress‐concentration induced fracture. The resulting crack lattices act as capillary conduits that redistribute water, while the porous matrix stores moisture.

Disturbed Cold Gas in Galaxy and Structure Formation
The cold gas in the circumgalactic medium (CGM) and its interaction with galaxies remain poorly understood. Strong Mg ii ( λλ 2796, 2803) absorptions seen in background quasar spectra reveal large reservoirs of neutral hydrogen, potentially serving as ...

The energetic offset between the donor and the acceptor components in organic photoactive layers is central to the tradeoff between photovoltage and photocurrent losses. This Perspective covers the most important issues surrounding this topic in non‐fullerene acceptor blends, from the difficulty of accurately determining state energies and driving ...
