Multiple cold pools are observed to pass over the same location on the same day without colliding, a feature we refer to as a cold pool train. We conduct a suite of idealized numerical simulations of a cold pool train to quantify how the propagation speed and head depth of cold pools change when following the passage of previous cold pools.
