Use of foamed bitumen in cold recycling: mechanical characterization of materials

open access: yes, 2005
The use of recycling in the construction of road pavements in Italy dates back to the end of the 1970s when, due to the first big oil crisis, new working methods that could limit the use of oil and its derivatives were experimented.

Mutant KRAS‐m6A Epitranscriptome Axis Promotes Colorectal Cancer and is a Therapeutic Target

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Mutant KRAS‐m6A axis promotes colorectal cancer (CRC) progression. Mutant KRAS stabilizes METTL3, leading to increased m6A‐modified BCL9L mRNA and translation of BCL9L protein. BCL9L in turn mediates TGF‐β secretion to induce differentiation of Treg and an immunosuppressive microenvironment.

Rheological properties of cold recycled mixtures

open access: yesActa Montanistica Slovaca, 2007
The paper presents some of the results of research focused on cold recycled mixtures properties. Within the study, eight mixtures with a different amount of reclaimed asphalt, bitumen emulsion and cement were evaluated. The results of static creep, complex modulus and fatigue conducted on trapezoidal specimens are discussed in the paper.

An Unbiased Geometry‐Resolved Membrane Platform for Proteome‐Scale Discovery of Membrane Curvature Sensors

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A novel geometry‐resolved membrane platform provides a seamlessly integrated pipeline for studying curvature‐sensing proteins. By linking shotgun proteomics with quantitative imaging, this approach enables both the unbiased discovery and rigorous validation of novel sensors across the entire curvature range—positive, negative, and zero.

Temporal Trajectories of the Tau Aggregate Interactome Reveal Stage‐Specific Vulnerabilities in Alzheimer's Disease

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Tau populations with different aggregation states associate with distinct sets of proteins in the Alzheimer's disease brain. Proteomic discovery combined with single‐molecule analysis in neurons reveals dynamic associations involving proteostasis, metabolism and RNA biology.
