Bitter Taste Receptor Agonists Induce Apoptosis in Papillary Thyroid Cancer
ABSTRACT Background Papillary thyroid carcinoma (PTC) is the most common thyroid malignancy, with a 20% recurrence rate. Bitter taste receptors (T2Rs) and their genes (TAS2Rs) may regulate survival in solid tumors. This study examined T2R expression and function in PTC cells.

What's New? The rarity of acute lymphoblastic leukaemia and lack of available environmental data have made the role of environmental factors in genetic subtypes challenging to investigate. Here, the authors performed a CpG‐level analysis to investigate DNA methylation as an intermediate mechanism between environmental risk exposures and acute ...

Abstract Metastatic triple negative breast cancer poses a significant health challenge due to rapid progression and limited treatment options. Immunotherapies targeting T cell responses against metastatic tumors depend on the presence of specific T cell phenotypes, which dynamically evolve with disease progression and treatment.

Patient‐derived xenograft models in pan‐cancer: From bench to clinic
Abstract Patient‐derived xenograft (PDX) models provide a robust preclinical platform that preserves the genetic and phenotypic heterogeneity of patient tumors while mirroring their tumor genetic characteristics, which retain malignant cells and the tumor pathological structure, making them valuable for studying tumor progression and developing ...

A sustainable, physically crosslinked bio‐ink (Gel‐X) composed of gelatin, gellan gum, and Laponite XLG was developed for multi‐modal 3D bioprinting. Gel‐X is prepared within an hour by simple mixing in deionized water, eliminating the need for chemical crosslinkers.
