Rigorous time domain responses of polarizable media II

open access: yesAnnals of Geophysics, 1998
We present and test in detail with synthetic data a method which may be used to retrieve the parameters describing the induced polarization properties of media which fit the generally accepted frequency dependent formula of Cole and Cole (1941) (CC model)

Ultra-Wideband Temperature Dependent Dielectric Spectroscopy of Porcine Tissue and Blood in the Microwave Frequency Range

open access: yesSensors, 2019
The knowledge of frequency and temperature dependent dielectric properties of tissue is essential to develop ultra-wideband diagnostic technologies, such as a non-invasive temperature monitoring system during hyperthermia treatment.

Modeling of bioimpedance for human skin based on fractional distributed-order modified cole model [PDF]

open access: yesFME Transactions, 2014
Electrical impedance measurement data and fractional calculus have been utilized for modeling bioimpedance properties of human skin. We introduced and proposed revisited Cole model using modified distributed order operator based on the Caputo-Weyl ...

Influence of temperature on Cole-Cole dielectric model of oil-immersed bushing [PDF]

open access: yesIOP Conference Series: Materials Science and Engineering, 2017
In this paper, 72.5 kV oil-immersed bushing was produced in laboratory. The frequency-domain dielectric response tests of oil-immersed bushings were carried out at different test temperatures. The experimental data were fitted by using the modified double relaxation Cole-Cole dielectric model.

Dual-Peak Dispersion and Attenuation of Compressional Waves from Coupled Thermo-Viscoelastic Mechanisms [PDF]

open access: yesLithosphere
Lord–Shulman (LS) thermoelasticity theory is integrated with the Kelvin–Voigt (KV) viscoelastic model to develop a coupled thermo-viscoelasticity formulation predicting two compressional waves, an elastic wave (E-wave), a thermal wave (T-wave), and a ...

Estimating coefficient of linear extensibility using Vis–NIR reflectance spectral data: Comparison of model validation approaches

open access: yesVadose Zone Journal, 2020
The coefficient of linear extensibility (COLE) is used to classify soils according to their swell–shrink potential, and its estimation is crucial for engineering and agronomic applications.

Distribution of Relaxation Times: Debye Length Distribution vs Electrode Polarization by a Cole−Cole Relaxation Model

open access: yesJournal of The Electrochemical Society, 2022
Mobility, diffusivity and charge density in polyelectrolytes, are generally determined from electrochemical impedance spectroscopy following the electrode polarization analysis, in which at a given temperature the peaks in tan δ are fitted based on a model.
