Thermodynamic effect of single bubble near a rigid wall
The objective of this paper is to numerically investigate the thermodynamic effect during bubble collapse near a rigid boundary. A compressible fluid model is introduced to accurately capture the transient process of bubble shapes and temperature, as ...

Suppression of Quantum-Mechanical Collapse in Bosonic Gases with Intrinsic Repulsion: A Brief Review
It is known that attractive potential ~− 1 / r 2 gives rise to the critical quantum collapse in the framework of the three-dimensional (3D) linear Schrödinger equation.

An objective collapse model without state dependent stochasticity
The impossibility of describing measurement in quantum mechanics while using a quantum mechanical model for the measurement machine, remains one of its central problems. Objective collapse theories attempt to resolve this problem by proposing alterations

Collapse Turbulence in Nonlinear Schrödinger Equation [PDF]
We consider a nonlinear Schrodinger equation (NLS) with dissipation and forcing in critical dimension. Without both linear and nonlinear dissipation NLS results in a finite‐time singularity (collapse) for any initial conditions. Dissipation ensures collapse regularization.

Through-wall yield collapse pressure of casing based on unified strength theory
The unified algorithm of through-wall yield collapse pressure for casing with due consideration of strength differential (SD), yield-to-tensile strength ratio, material hardening and intermediate principal stress, which is suitable to calculate collapse ...

In this paper, the lattice Boltzmann pseudo-potential model coupled the Carnahan–Starling (C-S) equation of state and Li’s force scheme are used to study the collapse process of cavitation bubbles near the concave wall.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
