Interacting boson fermion-fermion model calculation of the h11/2h11/2 doublet bands in 134Pr
The interacting boson fermion-fermion model is employed in the analysis of the positive-parity doublet bands in 134Pr. It is shown that stable triaxial deformation gives rise to the experimentally observed crossing between the yrast and yrare bands built

Acute caffeine treatment protects the developing retina from ischemia‐induced cell death
Caffeine reduces cell death in the developing retina under ischemia (OGD). This effect does not involve BDNF upregulation or antioxidant pathways (NRF2/VEGF). Neuroprotection occurs mainly through adenosine A2A receptor antagonism, decreasing glutamate release and excitotoxicity, highlighting caffeine's potential as an acute neuroprotective agent in ...

Join Together With the Band: Authenticating Collective Creativity in Bands and the Myth of Rock Authenticity Reappraised [PDF]
This article considers how the group identity of rock bands relates to discourses of authenticity. Expos\ue9s of the Romantic rock ideology, while broadly convincing, have overlooked the extent to which it incorporated the collective creativity of bands.

KIF26B plays an important role in kidney development. We engineered mice lacking the C‐terminal region of KIF26B and found severe kidney defects, including bilateral renal agenesis, similar to full Kif26b knockout mice. The mutation disrupted nephron progenitor condensation and reduced Gdnf‐Wnt11 signaling, showing that the KIF26B C‐terminal region is ...

In a murine model of myocardial ischemia and reperfusion (MI/R), the CD36 azapeptide ligand MPE‐298 reduces cardiac injury and transiently lowers left ventricular long‐chain fatty acids (LCFAs) accumulation 3 h after reperfusion, accompanied by a decrease of oxidative stress and inflammation‐associated genes' expression in the heart and adipose tissue.
