Spatial data mining has been extensively studied for GIS applications. To deal with a fast increasing of data, investigations for spatial data analysis are needed. In this paper, we propose a spatial data mining approach which adapts the existing colocation concept to characterize soil erosion hazard. In order to manage this task, we put the colocation

Colocation as a Service: Strategic and Operational Services for Cloud Colocation
2010 Ninth IEEE International Symposium on Network Computing and Applications, 2010By colocating with other tenants of an Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) offering, IaaS users could reap significant cost savings by judiciously sharing their use of the fixed-size instances offered by IaaS providers. This paper presents the blueprints of a Colocation as a Service (CaaS) framework.

Single-molecule fluorescence imaging is a promising strategy for biomolecule detection. However, the accuracy of single-molecule method is often compromised by the false-positive events at the ultralow sample levels that are caused by the nonspecific ...

Ring Theory 2007, 2008
In [9, Theorem 3.1] K. R. Fuller characterized indecomposable injective projective modules over artinian rings using i-pairs. In [3] the author generalized this theorem to indecomposable projective quasi-injective modules and indecomposable quasiprojective injective modules over artiniain rings. In [2] the author and K.

Distributed transducers and colocation
Mechanical Systems and Signal Processing, 1993Abstract Colocated sensors and actuators offer significant robustness and design benefits in distributed parameter vibration control. The concept of colocation is extended here to distributed transducers, and combinations of distributed and discrete transducers, affixed to self-adjoint distributed plants.

Colocated surface sound interaction
CHI '13 Extended Abstracts on Human Factors in Computing Systems, 2013We present three related schemes for colocating sensing and sound actuation on flat surfaces. One uses conductive paper to create a musical instrument, another uses magnets mounted in gloves and printed conductors to form planar loudspeaker arrays. Finally we show how conductive and resistive fabrics can be integrated with loudspeaker drivers.

Colocalization of Alopecia Areata and Vitiligo
Pediatric Dermatology, 1999Abstract: We report an 18‐year‐old woman who had a 4‐month history of colocalization of alopecia areata and vitiligo, principally on the occipital portion of the scalp.

Abstract Those who accept an ontology of ordinary objects face the problem of colocation: holding that different objects — such as a lump of clay and a statue — occupy the same place at the same time or are composed of the same parts. Anti-colocation arguments appear in several forms: rhetorical appeals that surely there is nothing “over
