This study develops a semi‐supervised classifier integrating multi‐genomic data (1404 training/5893 validation samples) to improve homologous recombination deficiency (HRD) detection in breast cancer. Our method demonstrates prognostic value and predicts chemotherapy/PARP inhibitor sensitivity in HRD+ tumours.

Expanding the Medical Decathlon dataset: segmentation of colon and colorectal cancer from computed tomography images [PDF]
Colorectal cancer is the third-most common cancer in the Western Hemisphere. The segmentation of colorectal and colorectal cancer by computed tomography is an urgent problem in medicine. Indeed, a system capable of solving this problem will enable the detection of colorectal cancer at early stages of the disease, facilitate the search for pathology by ...

Personalized Colorectal Cancer Survivability Prediction with Machine Learning Methods [PDF]
In this work, we investigate the importance of ethnicity in colorectal cancer survivability prediction using machine learning techniques and the SEER cancer incidence database. We compare model performances for 2-year survivability prediction and feature importance rankings between Hispanic, White, and mixed patient populations. Our models consistently

Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer
We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.
