Study on the colorimetric properties of the LED projection sources

open access: yesActa Physica Sinica, 2007
The colorimetric properties of the conventional arc lamp and LED are calculated and analyzed by using the colorimetry theory. Comparing to the conventional arc lamp used as projection light source, LED illuminator has higher efficiency of the spectral power and better ability of color display.

Hydrostatic pressure activates HIF‐1α via β‐catenin to promote stemness in breast cancer cells

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
To mimic the elevated intestinal fluid pressure in breast cancers, we loaded human breast cancer cells (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐453, and BT‐474) to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure exposure upregulated HIF‐1α and induced stemness in MCF‐7 and BT‐474 cells.

ESIPT-influenced C3-symmetry, disk-shaped fluorescence turn-on probe for Zn2+ based on melamine-naphthyl moiety with high affinity towards Cu2+ in CH3CN

open access: yesResults in Optics, 2022
A C3-symmetry turn-on probe for Zn2+ based on the melamine-naphthyl moiety (H) was synthesized via a simple one-step Schiff base reaction mechanism. The photophysical properties were investigated using spectroscopic methods of UV–Vis and fluorescence ...

Effect of Steaming on the Colorimetric Properties of Eucalyptus saligna Wood [PDF]

open access: yesFloresta e Ambiente, 2018

Anthocyanins of Açaí Applied as a Colorimetric Indicator of Milk Spoilage: A Study Using Agar-Agar and Cellulose Acetate as Solid Support to Be Applied in Packaging

open access: yesPolysaccharides, 2022
Food that is still fit for consumption is wasted in the domestic environment every day, so food packaging technologies are being developed that will monitor the quality of the products in real time. Highly perishable milk is currently one of the products

In silico and in vitro exploration of a tyrosinase for biocatalytic production of catechols

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Tyrosinase from Ralstonia pseudosolanacearum is a promising biocatalyst for producing valuable catechols from monophenol substrates. This tyrosinase is uniquely suited to this due to its high monophenolase : diphenolase ratio. We combined in silico docking and in vivo kinetic characterisation of this tyrosinase with 11 industrially relevant monophenols,

Erythrosin B: a versatile colorimetric and fluorescent vital dye for bacteria

open access: yesBioTechniques, 2020
Rapidly assaying cell viability for diverse bacteria species is not always straightforward. In eukaryotes, cell viability is often determined using colorimetric dyes; however, such dyes have not been identified for bacteria.
