Waxy‐ or putty‐like materials has emerged as a novel drug preparation for synthetic cannabinoids and other drugs in UK prisons. An in vitro CB1 bioassay was used to evaluate the CB1 activating potential of MDMB‐INACA and extracts from eight seized samples. MDMB‐INACA had moderate efficacy but low potency at CB1.

Comet Machholz (C/2004 Q2): morphological structures in the inner coma and rotation parameters
Extensive observations of comet C/2004 Q2 (Machholz) were carried out between August 2004 and May 2005. The images obtained were used to investigate the comet's inner coma features at resolutions between 350 and 1500 km/pixel.

Identification of Three Novel Tetrahydrocannabinol Analogs in the European Market
The major isolated ingredient of “CB9” was identified as [2‐(E)‐propen‐1‐yl]‐Δ8‐tetrahydrocannabinol‐acetate of “tresconol” as [2‐propen‐2‐yl]‐Δ9‐tetrahydrocannabinol and of “CBx” as [2‐propen‐2‐yl]‐Δ8‐tetrahydrocannabinol. These compounds have no available spectroscopic or chromatographic data and have never been identified in Cannabis plants, and ...

Coma imaging of comet P/Brorsen-Metcalf at Calar Alto in late July to mid August 1989 [PDF]
Comet P/Brorsen-Metcalf was observed on 1989/07/28+30 and on 1989/08/04+12(+14) with the 3.5 m telescope and the 0.8 m Schmidt camera at Calar Alto/Spain. The images exhibit a narrow plasma tail pointing into anti-solar direction.

Flow chart illustrates the analysed patients as well as main baseline characteristics and outcomes comparing DanGer Shock‐like versus DanGer Shock‐unlike patients. The composite safety endpoint comprises severe bleeding, limb ischaemia, haemolysis, device failure, and worsening of aortic regurgitation. CS indicates cardiogenic shock.

Comet P/Tempel: Some highlights and conclusions from the 1988 apparition [PDF]
From the brightness development and a sequence of imaging observations of the coma activity onset of comet P/Tempel 2 in 1988, it is concluded that there might have happened eruptive events of strong dust and gas outbursts during May and June 1988.
