Quantum Panprotopsychism and the Combination Problem
We argue that a phenomenological analysis of consciousness similar to that of Husserl shows that the effects of phenomenal qualities shape our perception of the world. It also shows the way the physical and mathematical sciences operate, allowing us to accurately describe the observed regularities in terms of communicable mathematical laws. The latter

Combining Possibly Related Estimation Problems
Summary We have two sets of parameters we wish to estimate, and wonder whether the James-Stein estimator should be applied separately to the two sets or once to the combined problem. We show that there is a class of compromise estimators, Bayesian in nature, which will usually be preferred to either alternative.

Patterns of Postictal Abnormalities in Relation to Status Epilepticus in Adults
ABSTRACT Objective Abnormalities on peri‐ictal diffusion‐weighted magnetic resonance imaging (DWI‐PMAs) are well‐established for patients with status epilepticus (SE), but knowledge on patterns of DWI‐PMAs and their prognostic impact is sparse. Methods This systematic review and individual participant data meta‐analysis included observational studies ...

To date, only a few studies have investigated in larger cohorts the effect of age and biological sex on diagnostic markers extracted from CSF. Methods For this retrospective observational study, 4163 CSF findings (2012–2020) were evaluated.
