Combinatorial chemistry techniques applied to nonpeptide integrin antagonists.

open access: closedCurrent Medicinal Chemistry, 1998
The integrins are cell surface receptors that recognize extracellular matrix adhesive proteins such as fibrinogen, fibronectin, vitronectin, and VCAM-1 (vascular cell adhesion molecule-1).

Investigation of Solid-Phase Peptide Synthesis by the Near-Infrared Multispectral Imaging Technique:  A Detection Method for Combinatorial Chemistry

open access: closedAnalytical Chemistry, 1999
A near-infrared (NIR) multispectral imaging spectrometer was used to monitor solid-phase peptide synthesis. This imaging spectrometer has fast scanning ability and high sensitivity because it is based on an acousto-optic tunable filter and a NIR InGaAs focal plane array camera.

Application of Pictet-Spengler Reaction to Indole-Based Alkaloids Containing Tetrahydro-β-carboline Scaffold in Combinatorial Chemistry.

ACS Combinatorial Science, 2017
Indole-based alkaloids are well-known in the literature for their diverse biological properties. Polysubstituted optically active tetrahydro-β-carboline derivatives functionalized on C-1 position are the common structural motif in most of the indole ...

Fuzzy electron density fragments in macromolecular quantum chemistry, combinatorial quantum chemistry, functional group analysis, and shape-activity relations.

Accounts of Chemical Research, 2014
Conspectus Just as complete molecules have no boundaries and have "fuzzy" electron density clouds approaching zero density exponentially at large distances from the nearest nucleus, a physically justified choice for electron density fragments exhibits ...

Dynamic combinatorial chemistry employing boronic acids/boronate esters leads to potent oxygenase inhibitors.

Angewandte Chemie, 2012
The application of dynamic reactions is a promising approach for the discovery of small-molecule ligands for proteins. To date, however, this method is limited by the few appropriate reactions and the techniques used for the analysis of protein– ligand ...
