Jet Characteristics of a Narrow Throat Pre-Chamber and Influence on the Main-Chamber Combustion
Lean combustion is one of the most applied methods to increase engine efficiency and maintain a good trade-off with engine emissions. The pre-chamber combustion (PCC) is one of the most promising combustion concepts to extend the lean operating limits of

Study on radiation heat transfer characteristics of aeroengine combustion chamber
The thermal radiation of gaseous combustion products in an aero-engine combustion chamber has obvious non-ash-body characteristics. In this paper, based on the OpenFOAM platform, a numerical study on multi-field coupled turbulence-combustion-radiation ...

A simple analytical model to study and control azimuthal instabilities in annular combustion chambers [PDF]
This study describes a simple analytical method to compute the azimuthal modes appearing in annular combustion chambers and help analyzing experimental, acoustic and LES (Large Eddy Simulation) data obtained in these combustion chambers. It is based on

A physics‐based framework resolving graphite phase‐separation dynamics establishes a predictive, degradation‐aware fast‐charging methodology for commercial Li‐ion batteries. The resulting model‐informed protocol achieves 20%–80% state‐of‐charge in 14 min while matching the long‐term degradation of a commercial 25‐minute EV strategy.

Abnormal combustion - methanol versus gasoline
Includes bibliographical references. The maximum efficiency of conventional gasoline engines is largely determined by the compression ratio, and this is limited by the onset of kno8k. The maximum cylinder size is similarly constrained.
