Health disparities in chronic liver disease
Abstract The syndemic of hazardous alcohol consumption, opioid use, and obesity has led to important changes in liver disease epidemiology that have exacerbated health disparities. Health disparities occur when plausibly avoidable health differences are experienced by socially disadvantaged populations.

The one-dimensional (1d) Anderson model (AM) has statistical anomalies at any rational point $f=2a/\lambda_{E}$, where $a$ is the lattice constant and $\lambda_{E}$ is the de Broglie wavelength.

Automorphic forms and rational homology 3–spheres [PDF]
We investigate a question of Cooper adjacent to the Virtual Haken Conjecture. Assuming certain conjectures in number theory, we show that there exist hyperbolic rational homology 3–spheres with arbitrarily large injectivity radius.

Simultaneous supersingular reductions of CM elliptic curves
We study the simultaneous reductions at several supersingular primes of elliptic curves with complex multiplication. We show -- under additional congruence assumptions on the CM order -- that the reductions are surjective (and even become equidistributed)

Aims. We clarify the response of extrasolar planetary systems in a 2:1 mean motion commensurability with masses ranging from the super Jovian range to the terrestrial range to stochastic forcing that could result from protoplanetary disk turbulence.

2D Nanomaterials Toward Function‐Ready Superlubricity in Advanced Microsystems
A unified framework links structural and transformation superlubricity with microsystem functions and deployment requirements. Mechanisms, device architectures, integration strategies, AI‐guided discovery, and benchmarking protocols are connected to define function‐ready superlubricity in advanced microsystems.

A new non-arithmetic lattice in PU(3,1)
We study the arithmeticity of the Couwenberg-Heckman-Looijenga lattices in PU(n,1), and show that they contain a non-arithmetic lattice in PU(3,1) which is not commensurable to the non-arithmetic Deligne-Mostow lattice in PU(3,1)

Wittgenstein's Thought Experiments and Relativity Theory [PDF]
In this paper, I discuss the similarity between Wittgenstein’s use of thought experiments and Relativity Theory. I begin with introducing Wittgenstein’s idea of “thought experiments” and a tentative classification of different kinds of thought ...

ESG Uncertainty in Supply Chains: How Rating Divergence Shapes Buyer–Supplier Trade Credit
ABSTRACT Uncertainty in environmental, social, and governance (ESG) ratings has raised concerns about the reliability of sustainability evaluations and their consequences for interfirm relationships. Although prior research has highlighted firm‐level financial outcomes of ESG rating divergence, little is known about its implications for buyer–supplier ...

Talbot effect in cylindrical waveguides
We extend the theory of Talbot revivals for planar or rectangular geometry to the case of cylindrical waveguides. We derive a list of conditions that are necessary to obtain revivals in cylindrical waveguides.
