Textured Soy Protein Quantification in Commercial Hamburger
Journal of Food Composition and Analysis, 2001Abstract Soy protein is widely used as an additive in meat products. Brazilian legislation allows a maximum of 7.5% (dry wt) of textured soy protein in hamburgers; however, there is no reliable local methodology to quantify soy protein in meat products. The objective of this work was to investigate and apply indirect ELISA as a method for determining

Deformation and recrystallization textures in commercially pure aluminum
Metallurgical Transactions A, 1986The deformation and recrystallization textures of commercially pure aluminum (99.6 pct) containing large intermetallic particles (FeAl3) are measured by neutron diffraction, and the orientation distribution functions (ODF’s) are calculated. Sample parameters are the initial grain size (50 and 350 μm) and the degree of deformation (15 to 95 pct ...

UnstructuredFusion: Realtime 4D Geometry and Texture Reconstruction Using Commercial RGBD Cameras
IEEE Transactions on Pattern Analysis and Machine Intelligence, 2020A high-quality 4D geometry and texture reconstruction for human activities usually requires multiview perceptions via highly structured multi-camera setup, where both the specifically designed cameras and the tedious pre-calibration restrict the popularity of professional multi-camera systems for daily applications.

Objective Texture Measurements of Commercial Wheat Flour Tortillas
Cereal Chemistry, 2002ABSTRACTTexture is a property of major importance in the evaluation of baked products. To determine a sample of commercial ranges for stretchability, rollability, firmness, and Kramer shear cell measurements for wheat flour tortillas using the TA‐XT2 texture analyzer, three separate sets of five tortilla brands purchased from stores in Manhattan, KS ...

Magnetic properties of textured annealed commercial black plate
Journal of Applied Physics, 1981A refined (001) [uvw] texture was developed in commercial black plate samples by annealing at 1150 C in a hydrogen atmosphere containing 20 ppm H2S. Long time annealing in the absence of intentionally added H2S resulted in a less refined texture, indicating that the texture is due to a surface energy phenomenon caused by the selective absorption of ...

Texture Evolution in ARB Processed Commercial Purity Aluminium
Materials Science Forum, 2011Texture of the ARB processed commercial purity aluminium was investigated in order to explore the stable component in rolling texture more than 95 % of rolling reduction in FCC metal sheets having high stacking fault energy. Weak location dependence along normal direction was observed in the sheet up to ARB 8 cycle, whereas the texture could be ...

Recrystallization texture development in commercial AlMnMg alloys
Acta Materialia, 1996Abstract A detailed investigation of the evolution of recrystallization textures during annealing after hot rolling of an Al1Mn1Mg alloy and after hot and cold rolling of an Al1Mn0.5Mg alloy has been carried out, using the EBSP-technique for identification of the individual grain orientations.

Notch-texture strengthening mechanism in commercially pure titanium thin sheets
Materials & Design, 2014Abstract Simultaneous effects of notch and texture on strengthening mechanisms of rolled thin sheets of commercially pure titanium were investigated. The presence of notch led to the restriction of deformation systems and different fracture behaviors compared to un-notched specimens.

Inkjet Texturing for High Efficiency Commercial Silicon Solar Cells
2008Due to some significant advantages over conventional upright pyramids, unique surface structures, such as inverted pyramids and micro- or macro-grooves, have been chosen for the texturing of many of the record high efficiency silicon solar cells, developed by the University of New South Wales.

Microstructural and textural characterization of a commercial aluminium-lithium alloy
Journal of Materials Science, 1990A chemical and textural investigation into the grain-banding effect found through 1.6 mm gauge aluminium-lithium aerospace sheet is presented. Wavelength dispersive X-ray spectroscopy was used to measure the copper content profile through the sheet whilst laser-induced ion mass analysis was used to establish the lithium profile.
