Extended Simulation Function via Rational Expressions

open access: yesMathematics, 2020
In this paper, we introduce some common fixed point theorems for two distinct self-mappings in the setting of metric spaces by using the notion of a simulation function introduced in 2015.

Coincidence and Common Fixed Point Results for Contraction Type Maps in Partially Ordered Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
We present coincidence and common fixed point results of selfmappings satisfying a contraction type in partially ordered metric spaces. As an application, we give an existence theorem for a common solution of integral equations.

Clinical applications of next‐generation sequencing‐based ctDNA analyses in breast cancer: defining treatment targets and dynamic changes during disease progression

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a possibility for different applications in early and late stage breast cancer management. In early breast cancer tumor informed approaches are increasingly used for detecting molecular residual disease (MRD) and early recurrence. In advanced stage, ctDNA provides a possibility for monitoring disease progression and

A Common Fixed Point Theorem in D*-Metric Spaces

open access: yesFixed Point Theory and Applications, 2007
We give some new definitions of D*-metric spaces and we prove a common fixed point theorem for a class of mappings under the condition of weakly commuting mappings in complete D∗-metric spaces.

A Distributed Algorithm for Computing a Common Fixed Point of a Family of Paracontractions [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
A distributed algorithm is described for finding a common fixed point of a family of $m>1$ nonlinear maps $M_i : \mathbb{R}^n \rightarrow \mathbb{R}^n$ assuming that each map is a paracontraction and that such a common fixed point exists. The common fixed point is simultaneously computed by $m$ agents assuming each agent $i$ knows only $M_i$, the ...

Circulating tumor cells in metastatic breast cancer patients treated with immune checkpoint inhibitors – a biomarker analysis of the ALICE and ICON trials

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
In this explorative biomarker analysis, we assessed serial sampling of circulating tumor cells (CTCs) with CellSearch in two randomized trials testing immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) in metastatic breast cancer. Our data demonstrate a prognostic potential of CTCs, most apparent 4 weeks into ICI therapy.

Common Fixed Point Results for Family of Generalized Multivalued F-contraction Mappings in Ordered Metric Spaces [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2016
In this paper, we study the existence of common fixed points of family of multivalued mappings satisfying generalized F-contractive conditions in ordered metric spaces. These results establish some of the general common fixed point theorems for family of multivalued maps.

A comparative study of circulating tumor cell isolation and enumeration technologies in lung cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Lung cancer cells were spiked into donor blood to evaluate the recovery rates of the following circulating tumor cell (CTC) enrichment technologies: CellMag™, EasySep™, RosetteSep™, Parsortix® PR1, and Parsortix® Prototype systems. Each method's advantages and disadvantages are described.

Well-Posedness Of Common Fixed Point Theorem For Three and Four Mappings Under Strict Contractive Conditions In Fuzzy metric Space [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2011
None has studied the well-posedness of common fixed points in fuzzy metric space. In this paper, our target is to develop the well-posedness of common fixed points in fuzzy metric space. Also using weakly compatibility, implicit relation, property (E.A.) and strict contractive conditions, we have established the unique common fixed point for three self

Cell‐free and extracellular vesicle microRNAs with clinical utility for solid tumors

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Cell‐free microRNAs (cfmiRs) are small‐RNA circulating molecules detectable in almost all body biofluids. Innovative technologies have improved the application of cfmiRs to oncology, with a focus on clinical needs for different solid tumors, but with emphasis on diagnosis, prognosis, cancer recurrence, as well as treatment monitoring.
