Wheat flour particle size: Influence of mill design and effects on quality and performance
Abstract Among the various characteristics of wheat (Triticum aestivum) flour, particle size is of paramount importance globally. The industrial process of separating the three main components (endosperm, bran, and germ) must ensure that the desired quality is delivered to customers through a progressive reduction in the size of the endosperm until the

Coefficients of Sylvester's Denumerant [PDF]
For a given sequence $\mathbf{\alpha} = [\alpha_1,\alpha_2,\dots,\alpha_{N+1}]$ of $N+1$ positive integers, we consider the combinatorial function $E(\mathbf{\alpha})(t)$ that counts the nonnegative integer solutions of the equation $\alpha_1x_1+\alpha_2

A Novel Two‐Stage Flexible Flow Shop Batch Scheduling Model for Grinding Workshops
ABSTRACT The growing need for data storage in data centers has increased the demand for mechanical hard disks due to their low cost and high reliability. Aluminum substrates are the most popular base plates for mechanical hard disks because of their high hardness and low cost.

Graph theory, introduced by the Swiss mathematician Leonhard Euler in 1736, has played a pivotal role in solving real-world problems since its inception, notably exemplified by Euler's solution to the Konigsberg Bridge problem. Its applications extend to

ABSTRACT Rationale Ions trapped within a Penning cell (ICR) travel periodic orbits whose frequencies are dependent on their mass‐to‐charge ratio and the value of the magnetic field passing through the trap. Fourier transformation (FT‐ICR) decomposes the signal induced in the detection circuit by the rotation of the ions in the cell after the ...

Abstract Statistical hypothesis testing (SHT) is widely employed across numerous scientific disciplines, and a clear understanding of its underlying logic is essential for the broader scientific community. Here, drawing upon both epistemological and statistical perspectives, we aim to clarify—primarily for educational purposes—the logical relationship ...

On common index divisors and monogenity of certain number fields defined by x^{5}+ax+b
Let K = Q(α) be a number field, where α satisfies the monic irreducible polynomial F (x) = x5 + ax + b belonging to Z[x]. The purpose of this paper is to caracterise when a prime p is a common index divisor of K. More precisely, we give explicitly a necessary and sufficient conditions, on a and b for which K is not monogenic.

Time‐resolved XPCS analysis across broad time‐scales using multi‐tau two‐time correlations
A scalable multi‐tau two‐time correlation framework enables efficient, time‐resolved XPCS analysis of long duration high‐frame‐rate modern synchrotron data while preserving sensitivity to non‐stationary dynamics. We present a multi‐tau two‐time correlation (MT‐2TC) analysis for X‐ray photon correlation spectroscopy that enables efficient analysis of ...
