Communicative English grammar teaching to high school learners in Vietnam
In Vietnamese high schools, English is mainly delivered in grammar translation method to ameliorate student achievement in grammar-oriented examinations. In a long term, students suffer from fatigue and failure to communicate properly.

Modelling stem cell differentiation related processes—A practical overview for biologists
Stem cell differentiation is complex and difficult to control experimentally. This review introduces suitable computational modelling approaches that can support stem cell research, from mechanistic ODE and abstract models to multiscale and deep learning methods.

Cancer progression is regulated by the dynamic matrix code of the tumor microenvironment, which influences cellular behavior and disease development. Importantly, matrix remodeling in three‐dimensional cancer models more accurately reflects in vivo conditions compared to conventional two‐dimensional systems.

Investigating transcription factor dynamics in health and disease using FRAP
FRAP analysis of GFP‐tagged transcription factors reveals how molecular mobility and target engagement change in response to drug treatment. By combining live‐cell imaging, quantitative model fitting, and statistical analysis, this approach uncovers transcription factor dynamics linked to disease mechanisms, providing a powerful framework for ...

TEACHERS' PERSPECTIVE ON THE IMPLEMENTATION OF COMMUNICATIVE APPROACH IN INDONESIAN CLASSROOMS
Communicative Approach (CA) is probably the most popular approach in the recent English language teaching (ELT) in Indonesia. The curriculum underpinning ELT in the country has changed several times, although in the last 35 years its basis has been ...

Microbiome‐blood–brain barrier interactions in aging — mechanisms and therapeutic potential
Aging reshapes the gut microbiome (↓SCFA‐producing commensals; ↑pro‐inflammatory outputs), shifting circulating metabolites (↓SCFAs; ↑LPS, ↑TMAO, ↑PAA) that act at the BBB to increase nonspecific transcytosis, alter transport, and promote astrocyte reactivity, heightening brain vulnerability.

The Indonesian ELT current curriculum (the 2013 Curriculum) adopts communicative Approach (CA) as its basis foundation. Despite the fact that this approach has been adopted for some years, some research studies showed that it does not bring any ...

A proof theoretical approach to communication [PDF]
The paper investigates a concurrent computation model, chi calculus, in which communications resemble cut eliminations for classical proofs. The algebraic properties of the model are studied. Its relationship to sequential computation is illustrated by showing that it incorporates the operational semantics of the call-by-name lambda calculus ...

Animals must match their growth rate to available nutrients. We show that in Drosophila larvae, the nutrient‐sensing TOR kinase controls growth by regulating levels of TFAM, a key regulator of mitochondrial function, in the adipose tissue. When nutrients are abundant, high TOR activity suppresses TFAM, lowering mitochondrial bioenergetic activity and ...
