Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

When does countable compactness imply sequential compactness?
This investigation consolidates and extends known results concerning classes of spaces in which sequential compactness is equivalent to countable compactness. At the same time results of S. Mrowka, M. Rajagopalan and T.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.

On the compactness of the set of L-2 trajectories of the control system
In this paper, the compactness of the set of L2 trajectories of the control system described by the Urysohn-type integral equation is studied. The control functions are chosen from the closed ball of the space L2 with radius r and centered at the origin.

On Intuitionistic Fuzzy -Almost Compactness and -Nearly Compactness
The concept of intuitionistic fuzzy -almost compactness and intuitionistic fuzzy -nearly compactness in intuitionistic fuzzy topological spaces is introduced and studied. Besides giving characterizations of these spaces, we study some of their properties.

Compactness and collective compactness in spaces of compact operators
AbstractThis is a study of compactness in (a) spaces Kb(X, Y) of compact linear operators, (b) injective tensor products X \̃boϵ Y, and (c) spaces Lc(X, Y) of continuous linear operators, and its various relationships with equicontinuity and collective compactness.

The Ile181Asn variant of human UDP‐xylose synthase (hUXS1), associated with a short‐stature genetic syndrome, has previously been reported as inactive. Our findings demonstrate that Ile181Asn‐hUXS1 retains catalytic activity similar to the wild‐type but exhibits reduced stability, a looser oligomeric state, and an increased tendency to precipitate ...

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.
