A comparison theorem for selfadjoint operators [PDF]
In this work we shall establish a result concerning the spectral theory of differential operators. Let L 1

Variational comparison theorem and perturbations of nonlinear systems
By employing vector Lyapunov-like functions and the theory of systems of differential inequalities, a variational comparison theorem and generalized variation of constants formula are developed.

In this work, we developed a phase‐stability predictor by combining machine learning and ab initio thermodynamics approaches, and identified the key factors determining the favorable phase for a given composition. Specifically, a lower TM ionic potential, higher Na content, and higher mixing entropy favor the O3 phase.

Oscillation of solutions to second-order half-linear differential equations with neutral terms
This article studies the oscillatory behavior of second-order half-linear differential equations with several neutral terms. Some criteria are presented that include those reported in [22].

Representation Theorem for Generators of BSDEs Driven by G-Brownian Motion and Its Applications
We obtain a representation theorem for the generators of BSDEs driven by G-Brownian motions and then we use the representation theorem to get a converse comparison theorem for G-BSDEs and some equivalent results for nonlinear expectations generated by G ...

An Extension Theorem for Weighted Ricci Curvature on Finsler Manifolds
Let(M,F) be a forward complete and connected Finsler manifold of dimensional n≥2. In this study, we extend Wan’s extension theorem in Riemannian manifolds to Finsler manifolds by using the weighted Ricci curvatureRicNbounded below.

On Cheng's eigenvalue comparison theorem
AbstractWe observe that Cheng's Eigenvalue Comparison Theorem for normal geodesic balls [4] is still valid if we impose bounds on the mean curvature of the distance spheres instead of bounds on the sectional and Ricci curvatures. In this version, there is a weak form of rigidity in case of equality of the eigenvalues.

The Primitive Comparison Theorem in characteristic $p$
We prove an analogue of Scholze\u27s Primitive Comparison Theorem for proper rigid spaces over an algebraically closed non-archimedean field $K$ of characteristic $p$.

Temperature Sensitivity and Adaptation of Cereal Yields: Empirical Evidence From Italy
ABSTRACT This paper investigates the evolving temperature sensitivity and climate adaptation of cereal yields in Italy from 1952 to 2023, using province‐level data for maize, common wheat, and durum wheat. Employing panel data econometric methods, we estimate yield responses to heat exposure, changes in sensitivity over time, and adaptation to climate ...
