Vertical differentiation, network externalities and compatibility decisions : an alternative approach [PDF]
We characterize the equilibrium of a game in vertically differentiated market which exhibits network externalities. There are two firms, an incumbent and a potential entrant.

We identify USP29 as the only DUB mirroring CA9 expression, a marker of hypoxia and HIF pathway activation associated with PCA aggressiveness. USP29 stabilizes HIF‐1α and HIF‐2α via a noncanonical mechanism that is independent of PHD/pVHL activity yet relies on proteasomal regulation, establishing USP29 as a previously unrecognized regulator of hypoxic

Drug resistance limits treatment success in a subset of lung cancers driven by ROS1 gene alterations. Using patient‐derived cells and computer simulations, we studied three key mutations and how they affect five targeted drugs. The mutations reduced drug effectiveness in different ways by altering protein structure and behavior.

Cabbage hybrids, which clearly present heterosis vigor, are widely used in agricultural production. We compared two S5 haplotype (Class II) cabbage inbred-lines 87–534 and 94–182: the former is highly SC while the latter is highly SI; sequence analysis ...

Association of circulating branched-chain amino acids with risk of pre-diabetes: a systematic review and meta-analysis [PDF]
Objective Recent investigations have looked at the systemic concentrations of branched-chain amino acids (BCAA), which they consider prospective indicators for health conditions and the likelihood of chronic diseases.

Enzymes of the 2‐hydroxyacyl‐CoA lyase group catalyze the condensation of formyl‐CoA with aldehydes or ketones. Thus, by structural adaptation of active sites, practically any pharmaceutically and industrially important 2‐hydroxyacid could be biotechnologically synthesized. Combining crystal structure analysis, active site mutations and kinetic assays,

Susceptibility analysis of complex systems [PDF]
A study of electromagnetic coupling effects on systems containing distributed elements and lumped linear components is presented. The structure is decomposed into sections containing multiconductor transmission lines and interconnection blocks holding ...
