Asymptotic estimation for statistical models of continuous-time discrete martingales
The paper deals with statistical experiments of the continuous-time discrete local martingales, including models of all types of point processes. The process of local density of the discrete local martingales is expressed by a stochastic exponent of the

Improving Passband Characteristics in Chebyshev Sharpened Comb Decimation Filters
This work presents the design of optimal and multiplierless compensators for Chebyshev sharpened comb decimation filters. The narrowband and wideband compensators are proposed.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

Study of Dosimetric Properties of Flattening Filter Free Photon Beam Passing through Cadmium Free Compensator Alloy [PDF]
Background: This study aims to investigate radiation beam geometry of Cyberknife beam and change in dosimetric characteristics of six megavoltage (6MV) flattening filter free (FFF) beam after passing through high density cadmium free compensator alloy ...

While mitigation and adaptation will help to protect us from climate change, there are harms that are beyond our ability to adapt. Some of these harms, which may have been instigated from historical emissions, plausibly give rise to duties of compensation.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Passive and semi-active heave compensator: Project design methodology and control strategies. [PDF]
Heave compensator is a system that mitigates transmission of heave movement from vessels to the equipment in the vessel. In drilling industry, a heave compensator enables drilling in offshore environments.

A Generalized, Frequency Domain-Embedded, State Space Approach for Controller Synthesis
This paper develops a novel control synthesis approach for a wide class of practical systems. The control action is derived by inserting a compensator device in the forward path of the system that is to be controlled.

Embryo‐like structures (stembryos) are an innovative tool, but they are hindered by experimental variability and limited developmental potential. DNA methylation is crucial for mammalian development, but its status in stembryo models is poorly characterized.

Simple wideband CIC compensator [PDF]
A simple design for wideband compensation of a cascaded-integratorcomb (CIC) decimation filter is presented. The proposed multiplierless linear phase finite impulse response compensator works at a low sampling rate and requires only three additions ...
