Model error compensator design for continuous- and discrete-time non-minimum phase systems with polytopic-type uncertainties

open access: yesSICE Journal of Control, Measurement, and System Integration, 2022
This paper presents a design for a model error compensator with a parallel feedforward compensator for continuous- and discrete-time non-minimum phase multiple input multiple output (MIMO) plants. The model error compensator can easily achieve robustness

Robotic Assistance for Physical Human–Robot Interaction Using a Fuzzy RBF Hand Impedance Compensator and a Neural Network Based Human Motion Intention Estimator

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2021
This paper proposes a robotic assistance control scheme for intuitive teaching tasks by integrating the motion intention of human and real-time hand impedance compensation based upon a fuzzy RBF (Radial Basis Function) compensator.

Launcher attitude control: discrete-time robust design and gain-scheduling [PDF]

open access: yes, 2003
In this paper, a robust multi-objective design for the control of a launcher during atmospheric flight is investigated. This approach is based on the Cross Standard Form formulation which allows to incorporate the various specifications of the launcher ...

Asymptotic estimation for statistical models of continuous-time discrete martingales

open access: yesLietuvos Matematikos Rinkinys
The paper deals with statistical experiments of the continuous-time discrete local martingales, including models of all types of point processes. The process of local density of the discrete local martingales is expressed by a stochastic exponent of the

Minimality of dynamic input-output decoupling for nonlinear systems [PDF]

open access: yes, 1991
In this note we study the strong dynamic input-output decoupling problem for nonlinear systems. Using an algebraic theory for nonlinear control systems, we obtain for a dynamic input-output decouplable nonlinear system a compensator of minimal dimension ...

Acceleration feedback control of human-induced floor vibrations [PDF]

open access: yes, 2010
Active vibration control (AVC) via a proof-mass actuator is considered to be a suitable technique for the mitigation of vibrations caused by human motions in floor structures.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Study of Dosimetric Properties of Flattening Filter Free Photon Beam Passing through Cadmium Free Compensator Alloy [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Biomedical Physics and Engineering, 2019
Background: This study aims to investigate radiation beam geometry of Cyberknife beam and change in dosimetric characteristics of six megavoltage (6MV) flattening filter free (FFF) beam after passing through high density cadmium free compensator alloy ...

A Generalized, Frequency Domain-Embedded, State Space Approach for Controller Synthesis

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2023
This paper develops a novel control synthesis approach for a wide class of practical systems. The control action is derived by inserting a compensator device in the forward path of the system that is to be controlled.

Matrix compensation and diagonal compensation

open access: yesJournal of Computational and Applied Mathematics, 1995
Let \(A\) be a symmetric positive definite matrix which is decomposed as \(A=B+R\) in some natural way. Typically \(B\) has a special sparsity pattern and \(R\) can be considered as a ``rest''. A matrix \(D\) is called a compensative matrix of \(R\) if \(D-R\) is positive semidefinite. Now define \(M=B+D\), so \(M\) is a compensative matrix of \(A\). \(
