A novel quinazolinone insulin receptor inhibitor and its synergy with an EGFR inhibitor in glucose‐driven glioblastoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The novel styrylquinazolinone‐based molecule W1B effectively suppresses glioblastoma by inhibiting IGF1R and EGFR. In high‐glucose microenvironments driving tumor resistance, W1B acts synergistically with the EGFR inhibitor dacomitinib. This combination safely blocks compensatory survival signaling in zebrafish xenograft models. Showcasing promising in

Design of a Controller to Overcome Air Ball in the Ball-on-plate System Applied to a Shelf Cart [PDF]

open access: yes한국정밀공학회지
A ball-on-plate system is a mechanical control system for measuring the position of a ball placed on a touch panel and controlling the ball to move to a desired position. This system has been applied to a shelf cart.

Loss of proton‐sensing TDAG8 increases tumor progression in mouse models of colon cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the pH‐sensing receptor TDAG8 accelerates colorectal cancer progression in mice. Animals lacking TDAG8 expression had increased tumor growth, DNA damage, and recruitment of tumor‐associated immune cells, including macrophages, neutrophils, and monocytes.

Implementation of cascade type PIS compensator for pneumatic anti-vibration apparatuses

open access: yesNihon Kikai Gakkai ronbunshu, 2018
This paper considers the implementation of a cascade type PIS compensator for the pneumatic anti-vibration apparatuses (AVA) control system. In precedence research the parallel type PIS compensator was used.

PAK1 activation drives divergent resistance mechanisms to aromatase inhibition and tamoxifen in a luminal: A breast cancer model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

Inhibition of cyclin‐dependent kinases 12/13 using CT7439 as a treatment for colorectal cancer with CDK12 upregulation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The proposed mechanism of action for the CDK12/13 inhibitor and cyclin K degrader, CT7439. CDK12/13 inhibition interrupts transcription elongation, leading to increased DNA damage that results in cell death. This agent is a potentially novel treatment option for patients with colorectal cancer. Created in BioRender. Cyclin‐dependent kinase (CDK) 12 and

Two-Stage Compensator Designs with Partial Feedbacks

open access: yes, 2012
The two-stage compensator designs of linear system are investigated in the framework of the factorization approach. First, we give "full feedback" two-stage compensator design. Based on this result, various types of the two-stage compensator designs with

Single‐cell DNA methylation profiling: Technologies, computation, and applications in precision oncology

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Single‐cell DNA methylation (scDNAme) profiling maps epimutational clonal evolution, revealing mechanisms of malignancy and therapeutic resistance across diverse cancer types. By providing a high‐resolution landscape of intratumoral heterogeneity, these technologies empower precise patient stratification, guide the development of enhanced ...

Placement of Distribution STATic COMpensator (DSTATCOM) as voltage support equipment in Single Wire Earth Return (SWER) system

open access: yes, 2016
Single Wire Earth Return (SWER) system with long transmission line is introduced as one method for low cost remote electrification. Long transmission line and load growth can makes voltage regulation a concern.
