In this paper, we provide some probability and moment inequalities (especially the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type inequality) for extended negatively dependent (END, in short) random variables. By using the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund type inequality and the truncation method, we investigate the complete convergence for sums and weighted sums of ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Complete moment convergence of double-indexed randomly weighted sums of mixing sequences
In this paper, we study the complete moment convergence of the sums of ρ̃-mixing sequences which are double-indexed randomly weighted and stochastically dominated by a random variable X.

Two modified proximal point algorithms in geodesic spaces with curvature bounded above
We obtain existence and convergence theorems on two variants of the proximal point algorithm for proper lower semicontinuous convex functions in complete geodesic spaces with curvature bounded above.Comment: 22 pages; some minor corrections were ...

Peroxidasin enables melanoma immune escape by inhibiting natural killer cell cytotoxicity
Peroxidasin (PXDN) is secreted by melanoma cells and binds the NK cell receptor NKG2D, thereby suppressing NK cell activation and cytotoxicity. PXDN depletion restores NKG2D signaling and enables effective NK cell–mediated melanoma killing. These findings identify PXDN as a previously unrecognized immune evasion factor and a potential target to improve

In this paper, we study the complete convergence and complete moment convergence of linear processes generated by negatively dependent random variables under sub-linear expectations. The obtained results complement the ones of Meng, Wang, and Wu (Commun.

Correlation of the differential expression of PIK3R1 and its spliced variant, p55α, in pan‐cancer
PIK3R1 undergoes alternative splicing to generate the isoforms, p85α and p55α. By combining large patient datasets with laboratory experiments, we show that PIK3R1 spliced variants shape cancer behavior. While tumors lose the protective p85α isoform, p55α is overexpressed, changes linked to poorer survival and more pronounced in African American ...

Complete convergence for B-valued Lp-mixingale sequences
Under weaker conditions of probability,we discuss in this paper the complete convergence for the partial sums and the randomly indexed partial sums of B-valued Lp-mixingale sequences.
