Convergence of a Recombination-Based Elitist Evolutionary Algorithm on the Royal Roads Test Function [PDF]
We present an analysis of the performance of an elitist Evolutionary algorithm using a recombination operator known as 1-Bit-Swap on the Royal Roads test function based on a population. We derive complete, approximate and asymptotic convergence rates for

Cutaneous Melanoma Drives Metabolic Changes in the Aged Bone Marrow Immune Microenvironment
Melanoma, the deadliest form of skin cancer, increasingly affects older adults. Our study reveals that melanoma induces changes in iron and lipid levels in the bone marrow, impacting immune cell populations and increasing susceptibility to ferroptosis.

On The Complete Convergence Of Randomly Weighted Sums Of Random Fields
Let {Xn̲, n̲ ∊ V ⊆ℕd } be a d-dimensional random field indexed by some subset V of lattice ℕd, which are stochastically dominated by a random variable X.

Long‐Term Follow‐Up of Chemotherapy‐Associated Biological Aging in Women With Early Breast Cancer
Women threated with adjuvant chemotherapy for early breast cancer have sustained long‐term increase in p16INK4a,, a robust marker of cell senescence, suggesting a chemotherapy‐associated age acceleration. p16INK4a as well as other biomarkers may identify patients at greatest risk for senescence‐related diseases of aging.

Complete convergence for weighted sums of pairwise independent random variables
In the present paper, we have established the complete convergence for weighted sums of pairwise independent random variables, from which the rate of convergence of moving average processes is deduced.

Some limit theorems for ratios of order statistics from uniform random variables
In this paper, we study the ratios of order statistics based on samples drawn from uniform distribution and establish some limit properties such as the almost sure central limit theorem, the large deviation principle, the Marcinkiewicz-Zygmund law of ...

Complete or Partial Inflation Convergence in the EU? [PDF]
This paper has one primary aim: to analyze whether there exists evidence in favor of inflation convergence, complete convergence, or common trends, partial convergence, within the European Union (EU).

Age‐Related Characteristics of SYT1‐Associated Neurodevelopmental Disorder
ABSTRACT Objectives We describe the clinical manifestations and developmental abilities of individuals with SYT1‐associated neurodevelopmental disorder (Baker‐Gordon syndrome) from infancy to adulthood. We further describe the neuroradiological and electrophysiological characteristics of the condition at different ages, and explore the associations ...

Complete convergence theorem for a two level contact process
We study a two-level contact process. We think of fleas living on a species of animals. The animals are a supercritical contact process in $\mathbb{Z}^d$. The contact process acts as the random environment for the fleas.
