Stability of Functional Equations in Dislocated Quasi-Metric Spaces

open access: yesAnnales Mathematicae Silesianae, 2018
We present a result on the generalized Hyers-Ulam stability of a functional equation in a single variable for functions that have values in a complete dislocated quasi-metric space.

A Mizoguchi–Takahashi Type Fixed Point Theorem in Complete Extended b-Metric Spaces

open access: yesMathematics, 2019
In this paper, we prove a new fixed point theorem for a multi-valued mapping from a complete extended b-metric space U into the non empty closed and bounded subsets of U, which generalizes Nadler’s fixed point theorem.

ON Modified (α-η)-Contractive Mappings

open access: yesAbstract and Applied Analysis, 2014
Hussain et al. (2013) established new fixed point results in complete metric space. In this paper, we prove fixed point results of α-admissible mappings with respect to η, for modified contractive condition in complete metric space.

Generalization of Fixed Point Theorem for φ- Contraction Mapping of a Fuzzy b- Metric Space

open access: yesIbn Al-Haitham Journal for Pure and Applied Sciences
Let (X,W,T) be a fuzzy b- metric space, where X is a non-empty set, W is a fuzzy set on X×X×(0,∞) to [0,1], and T is a continuous t-norm, and let a function φ:[0,1]→[0,1] satisfies the following conditions: The function φ is strictly decreasing and ...

Completions of partial metric spaces

open access: yesTopology and its Applications, 2015
A partial metric space which was defined by \textit{S. G. Matthews} in his article [``Partial metric topology'', in: Papers on general topology and applications. Papers from the 8th summer conference at Queens College, New York, NY, USA, June 18--20, 1992. New York, NY: The New York Academy of Sciences.

On positive scalar curvature and moduli of curves

open access: yes, 2018
In this article we first show that any finite cover of the moduli space of closed Riemann surfaces of genus $g$ with $g\geq 2$ does not admit any Riemannian metric $ds^2$ of nonnegative scalar curvature such that $ds^2 \succ ds_{T}^2$ where $ds_{T}^2$ is

BEBERAPA SIFAT PEMETAAN C-KONTRAKTIF DI RUANG METRIK PARSIAL DAN TITIK TETAPNYA

open access: yesE-Jurnal Matematika
Partial metric space is a generalization of ordinary metric space, in partial metric space the axiom d(x,x) is no longer necessarily zero. Partial metric space was first introduced in 1994, since then many researchers have continued to learn about ...
