A complete solution of P. Samuel’s problem

open access: yesJournal für die reine und angewandte Mathematik (Crelles Journal), 2014
Abstract We give a complete solution of a problem in submanifold theory posed and partially solved by the eminent algebraic geometer Pierre Samuel in 1947. Namely, to determine all pairs of immersions

Change in Complete Blood Count Parameters and Vital Signs After Intravenous Infusion of 1 Liter of Normal Saline

open access: yesEurasian Journal of Emergency Medicine, 2018
Aim: In patients with suspected acute hemorrhage in the emergency department, the first-line of treatment is intravenous fluid therapy. The most frequently used parameters to estimate the amount of hemorrhage and to plan the management are the vital ...

Complete solution to Gaussian tensor model and its integrable properties

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2020
Similarly to the complex matrix model, the rainbow tensor models are superintegrable in the sense that arbitrary Gaussian correlators are explicitly expressed through the Clebsh-Gordan coefficients.

On the complete perturbative solution of one-matrix models

open access: yesPhysics Letters B, 2017
We summarize the recent results about complete solvability of Hermitian and rectangular complex matrix models. Partition functions have very simple character expansions with coefficients made from dimensions of representation of the linear group GL(N ...

A complete solution of an improved universal 3D coordinate similarity transformation model

open access: yesGeodesy and Geodynamics, 2021
When linearizing three-dimensional (3D) coordinate similarity transformation model with large rotations, we usually encounter the ill-posed normal matrix which may aggravate the instability of solutions.

Complete Solutions to Extended Stokes′ Problems [PDF]

open access: yesMathematical Problems in Engineering, 2008
The main object of the present study is to theoretically solve the viscous flow of either a finite or infinite depth, which is driven by moving plane(s). Such a viscous flow is usually named as Stokes′ first or second problems, which indicates the fluid motion driven by the impulsive or oscillating motion of the boundary, respectively.

Counting solutions to binomial complete intersections

open access: yesJournal of Complexity, 2007
We study the problem of counting the total number of affine solutions of a system of n binomials in n variables over an algebraically closed field of characteristic zero. We show that we may decide in polynomial time if that number is finite.

Completion and Embedding of the Schwarzschild Solution [PDF]

open access: yesPhysical Review, 1959
An analytic manifold is found, the most important properties of which are that it is complete and that it contains the manifold of the Schwarzschild line element. It is thus the complete analytic extension of the latter. The manifold is represented as a Riemannian surface in a six-dimensional pseudo-Euclidean space.
