Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Isoxazole complexes. Complexes with copper(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II) and cadmium(II)

Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1974
Abstract The preparation, spectral and magnetic properties of the complexes of copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II) and cadmium(II) with isoxazole are reported. Most of these compounds have distorted octahedral structures, whereas some, viz.: [Cu isox Cl 2 ] and [Co isox Br 2 ] are tetrahedral.

Investigations on Cyano Complexes. II. Cyano Mercurate(II)‐complexes

Zeitschrift für anorganische und allgemeine Chemie, 1964
AbstractBy potentiometric titrations, in addition to the complexes known in literature, the anions [Hg(CN)5]3− and [Hg(CN)6]4− have been evaluated in concentrated solutions of KCN. Instability constants together with standard potentials and free energies were calculated.—After the complete formation of Hg(CN)2 and addition of slight excess of HgCl2 the

Complex II Is Complex Too

Science, 2003
In aerobic eukaryotic cells, the respiratory chain of enzymes in the inner mitochondrial membrane transfers electrons from NADH and succinate to molecular oxygen, in the process producing the energy-rich molecule ATP. Hederstedt explains in his Perspective that the crystal structure of bacterial SQR (equivalent to mitochondrial complex II ...

Electroluminescence in Ruthenium(II) Complexes

Journal of the American Chemical Society, 2002
We have investigated the electrochemical, spectroscopic, and electroluminescent properties of a family of diimine complexes of Ru featuring various aliphatic side chains as well as a more extended pi-conjugated system. The performance of solid-state electroluminescent devices fabricated from these complexes using indium tin oxide (ITO) and gold ...

Complexes of phthalocyaninatoiron(II) with diazoles

Journal of Porphyrins and Phthalocyanines, 2001
The complexes of formula [ Fe ( Pc )( diazole )2]·n H 2 O ( Pc = phthalocyaninato dianion ; diazole = pyrazole , 3(5)-methylpyrazole, indazole and 1-phenylimidazole) have been prepared and characterized. The Mössbauer spectra of the bisadducts of [ Fe ( Pc )] with diazoles show values of isomer shift close to those of the corresponding complexes with ...

Platinum(II) Hydrazido Complexes

Inorganic Chemistry, 2001
Reaction of 1,2-dimethylhydrazine with the platinum hydroxo complex [(dppp)Pt(mu-OH)](2)(BF(4))(2) gives the bridging 1,2-dimethylhydrazido(-2) product [(dppp)(2)Pt(2)(mu-eta(2):eta(2)-MeNNMe)](BF(4))(2) 1. Crystals of 1.CH(2)Cl(2) from CH(2)Cl(2)/Et(2)O are monoclinic (C/2) with a = 19.690(1), b = 18.886(1), c = 17.170 (1) A, and beta = 92.111(1 ...

Palladium(II) Complexes of Oxybenziporphyrin

Inorganic Chemistry, 2001
8,19-Dimethyl-9,13,14,18-tetraethyloxybenziporphyrin coordinates palladium(II) to form the four-coordinate anionic complex [(OBP)Pd(II)](-). The NMR data provide evidence for the retention of macrocyclic aromaticity and coordination via a carbon sigma-donor.

Heterometallic Complexes of Sn(II)

Phosphorus, Sulfur, and Silicon and the Related Elements, 1999
We report here some new approaches to heterometallic complexes containing Sn(II) and transition metals. These are exemplified by the syntheses and structures of the complexes [Sn(mit)6Cu4] (1), [{Sn4(NBu′)3O}Cr(mit)Cl2(NMe2H)] (2) (mit= CH2N(MeC(...S)...N] and [(thf)(Me2NH)2Cl2Cr]2{ClSn(μ-O)}]2 (3).
